Walking the Camino, our needs are very basic so let's just say that Hostal Carrales succeeded in making our 2-day stay very comfortable. Clean, bathroom amenities, hot water and good lighting. The location was perfect, and we found a laundromat (Lavamac) and 2 small grocery stores nearby. All of the major attractions are within walking distance.

A super modern fully equipped small apartment that...

A super modern fully equipped small apartment that comfortably accommodates 5. Very clean, with all mod cons and close parking. We used the accommodation as a quick stop and hop for our trip to Portugal. Great for this. The village or surroundings don’t have much to offer, apart from a really good outdoor public swimming pool. Not sure if it would be a good place to stop if you wanted to visit Burgos old town. Have a look at how long it takes to get into town and weigh this up against the excellent facilities of this accommodation. It may just be worth it. Staff and locals were great.

Perfect for an overnight stop, the village is close to the motorway. There's nothing to do in the village itself. The apartment is best used as a stopover or just for sleeping while visiting Burgos or the surrounding area.

Staying in a quiet village in a fully equipped apartment makes your trip much easier. It's very close to Burgos, and you don't need to pay city center prices because getting around is easy.

I loved everything, as it was a destination we were really...

I loved everything, as it was a destination we were really looking forward to visiting. We were very comfortable in the apartment; the first day we thought we'd be too hot, but not at all. At night we slept covered up—a real luxury for being there in August. In short, everything was fantastic, very well-equipped with all the amenities, and we'd definitely be back.

Overall, very good.

Overall, very good. The best thing was that it was clean and nice, and very peaceful for sleeping. The only downside was the brightness in the room due to the lack of blinds, despite the thick curtains, but that was easily solved with an eye mask.

A quiet establishment in a village, ideal for resting after a long journey. Coffee, tea, biscuits, small bottles of water, etc., in the room were a nice touch. It's a shame that there's no on-site check-in and that breakfast isn't offered. On the plus side, there's a secure, enclosed parking area.

Great reception by the staff at the Plaza Bar where you pick up the pin code to enter the apartment. Clean, tidy and functional. Easy parking. Air conditioning if you need . Ten minutes by car to the centre of Burgos, the aparthotel is situated in a small village close to the Burgos ringroad, access to the city is easy by car. Very quiet at night and very attentive staff. Thank you.

The room was clean and proper. The furniture was in very good condition. We arrived very late for checking and the receptionist was very kind and helpful. Parking was secure (camera surveillance) in front of the hotel. We had a great night stay!
