It’s an amazing spot with people that really made our stay special. You are surrounded by nature in a peaceful mountain village. We were able to enjoy an amazing dinner all nights we have stayed there and the food alone deserves a mention. The farm house is restored with a lot of care, and respect for its history, the owners have great taste in music you enjoy while you are having an aperitivo on the patio

What a beautiful place to stay, miguel & Natalia welcomed us and made us so welcome, we had everything we needed and more, the food is excellent with a great choice of menu, Los fontaninas is so tranquil, the village has so much charm and we loved it, our room was lovely, just everything was perfect. The room was comfortable and we had a nice quiet night. The proprietors were kind and friendly and the hotel was good value for money. It is well located near to cafes.

Immaculately presented hotel accommodation with large, spacious rooms. No air con, but a very effective ceiling fan made up for it. Perhaps because it was early in the season, the restaurant wasn't open, fortunately I asked ahead of my visit so was able to make alternative arrangements. Breakfast was adequate, juice, bread, coffee and fresh eggs (which were delicious) and there is plenty of secure parking. The Wi-Fi does not extend to the rooms on the second floor which unless you have need of the internet, would not be a problem.

Boasting mountain views, La Cochorla provides accommodation with patio, around 40 km from Ponferrada Castle. There is a private entrance at the country house for the convenience of those who stay.
