Very few hotel options so make reservations early.
Very few hotel options so make reservations early. No A/C in hotel but it cools off every evening and we opened windows after sunset and room cooled quickly. If you sleep hot like us ask for a sheet. There are really a couple of different options in Roncesvalles after crossing the Pyrenees on the Camino: the lovely, simpler Hostel or a more comfortable single occupant hotel room. We chose the later, with the Casa de los Beneficiados. Well worth it. Nice room, very clean, spacious well stocked bathroom. Highlight was the restaurant, with pilgrim menu (salmon was delicious).
