The apartment is very clean with comfortable beds and well equipped. I particularly liked the roof terrace, we spent several evenings relaxing,watching the sun go down. I couldn't ask for a better location,so close to the centre and short walks to shops . The host is helpful and responsive .

The suites are perfect for stop over for a few dsys. Good value for money, clean and comfortable. Was pleasantly suprised our tea and coffee facilities were replenished daily along eith with fresh towels. Only slight flaw was we were not given the code to get the key on our very late arrival but was sorted quickly after one phone call. Would definitely stay again.

It was a good base for exploring many of the local walking...

It was a good base for exploring many of the local walking trails. We also drove to Cordoba which was interesting. Our visit to Rute in early December was at a time when many restaurants were shut. The Sugar Museum was worth a visit.

Attractive Spanish townhouses when viewed from street level. Difficult to walk around the narrow, steeply sloping streets with very narrow pavements which can be hazardous when wet (especially if you are elderly). Basic standards for cafes and restaurants. Limited provisions for supermarkets. English speaking virtually non-existent.

It's a fantastic location for exploring the Subbética region. The town is very pleasant, the people are lovely, and the food is wonderful. It's a shame the Anise and Sugar Museums are closed outside of the Christmas season; we'll have to come back!

The museum visits were highlights, especially the Sugar Museum. My least favorite thing was that they charge admission to all the museums; if you buy something, they refund the entrance fee, which is understandable, but it does cause queues during peak hours.

Highly recommended for Christmas.

Highly recommended for Christmas. We visited the ham museum, the anise museum, the sugar museum, the chocolate museum, and the shortbread museum. It's really cool, with a pleasant atmosphere and a wide variety of things to choose from. I especially recommend Restaurante Venegas; the food was excellent. If I had to mention something negative: it's quite hilly, and while it's not the cheapest place I've been, it's not the most expensive either.

Fine central location. Prompt excellent management for check-in. Secure property, modern interior, well organised and clean. Kitchen with breakfast area and all necessary electric cooking and dish washing appliances. Good separate lounge and dining room. Spacious bedroom with excellent large double bed with firm matress that ensured a good night's sleep. Ample clothes and luggage storage space. Can be fully recommended for small to large families as comfortable base to explore Rute and surroundings with ease.

Cozy, off grid apartment right in the middle of the olive groves. Helen, the owner, is really kind: she was flexible with the check-in time and welcomed us in person. The house has everything you need, including books and board games. Even though the apartment is pretty isolated and requires some driving to reach restaurants and bars in the nearby Zambra or Rute, it is really great for disconnecting and relaxing. We loved looking at the stars from the porch and enjoying the silence.

Perfect apartment for a few days away in Rute, super clean and has everything you need. We have stayed twice now . Hosts are really communicative and will help with any extra needs you have very quickly so highly recommend. Nice views from balcony and nice and warm in winter .

This room is well equipped, clean and in a very quiet location. Carmen is a lovely host and very helpful. You will need a car as it is about 2km from Rute. The scenery is breathtaking. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. 10/10.
