MAGNIFICENT! Completely renewed and still working lighthouse, converted into a fine and delicate boutique hotel. Best staff we’ve ever had in the world! We got some drinks and snacks at arrival, despite we arrived earlier than expected, and then they prepared a dinner specially for us, given we were exhausted after a long day. The views and the experience of being here is unbelievable. Food and cleanliness is superb. Only 15 min far away from the beautiful Vigo city, driving trough the coastal road which is also a plus. We stayed at rooms with sea view, an incredible experience seeing the light at night illuminating the ocean.

The hotel was excellent in all departments. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed friendly . The room and bed were excellent. The host organised dinner for us although the restaurant was normally closed. Dinner was the best we had on our Camiño trip. Host tried to help us all the way! Super helpful!!!

Really great hotel with a beautiful garden. The garden is perfect to relax and to enjoy the moment. The hosts are so lovely and very friendly. Breakfast buffet is good and has everything. There is a great restaurant just 500 m away. Highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nighs 27-29 September room 204. (With a safe that fits a large laptop!) Check in very quick and friendly. Room was small but perfectly clean and comfortable with a large bed. Spotlessly clean bathroom with only a shower that worked well. Thank goodness that the room had great air-con because it was absolutely boiling even at the end of September! Great large car park with some of it shaded. Staff in the bar were absolutely charming and couldn’t do enough to make sure you were comfortable. All in all for a small 2 star hotel it was excellent would certainly recommend it.

The staff were very friendly, the accommodation was very nice and clean, and there were rules after certain hours that were followed. The children loved it, especially the pool and the playground.

I liked it quite a lot.

I liked it quite a lot. It's close to Baiona but has its own atmosphere, a lively town center with a pulpeiro (octopus vendor) in the square who, according to the hotel manager, is there every Sunday (very good octopus). It also has a beach and a very large market on Mondays.

A truly beautiful area, we will definitely return.

A truly beautiful area, we will definitely return. Visit the Monte Boi promenade, near the Parador de Baiona, the caravel La Pinta, the mountain with the Virgen de La Roca, and very close by, the Silleiro Lighthouse.

Great staff who were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived , through breakfast and departure. The hotel was as expected with no surprises. Room was fine and little longer at reception gives soft seating. Breakfast served by owner who offered plenty of options and extra if needed. A nice stay making the experience and price all worthwhile.

Great location, excellent price, a very helpful host. 100 metres away from an excellent restaurant (Fidalgo Meson), and the nearby cafe does great breakfast. The cafe has a bakery which does amazing things which can be taken for morning tea. The hotel is well situated for the Camino, good value for money and is away from the bustle of Baiona.

Hotel Vasco da Gama was beautiful and clean, close to the Camino Portugues, and the staff were friendly, gracious, and helpful. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden patio after a long day of walking.
