The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped - we especially loved the balcony with a view onto the countryside and the location within easy walking distance of Uncastillo. The village is charming and full of magnificent Romanesque churches. (Unfortunately we were there in the middle of the annual holiday week so all churches and the local tourist information centre were closed!)

Excellent stay at Casa Laiglesia. Our room was really nice and cozy with newly done interiors and was clean and stylish. It has good ceiling fan and the building stayed nice and cool even though we had few really hot days during our stay so there was no need for AC. We could use the shared dining room and refridgerator. The terrace was perfect with fruit trees giving shade, true rural experience. The owner was friendly and helpful. Uncastillo was one of our favourites during our road trip in north Spain.

It's a very small village, and since it's November, the low season, the castle is only open on weekends. However, it's a good location for a trip visiting Sos del Rey Católico, Uncastillo, and the Roman site of Bañales.

Sádaba is beautiful.

Sádaba is beautiful. The house is 8 km away, but from there you can easily visit many other wonderful places. María gave us the address of a great sandwich shop in Sádaba that serves delicious food.

We had passed through Sadaba several times but had never stopped. This trip was made exclusively to visit its castle, which, according to all official sources, was open, but to our unpleasant surprise, it was closed and no one answered the phones. What a shame.

The town as a whole is beautiful, but surprisingly, the access to the castle is the most neglected aspect. The tourist office, located inside the castle, is difficult to find, and COVID-19 safety measures in bars and restaurants are conspicuously absent. Overall, the impression is very good; the castle is impressively well-preserved, the church is lovely, and the streets and old town are well-maintained and preserved.
