A very rural location, the gentleman that greeted us, spoke little english and us little spanish, our smartphones solved that issue, it was out of season but we needed an overnight stop and it's location suited us well , plus we were travelling with a dog and it was made welcome

What an amazing stay in a stunning location. To us, this is a real jewel. From the start the communication and helpfulness of everyone was exceptional. Thank you. The accommodation is down a flight of steps, a stone throw away from the impressive Castle of Villena and this was very magical. The vast accommodation has 3 levels. On the ground floor you have open plan living areas, the swimming pool and one bathroom. We spent a lot of time chatting around the large kitchen table and having drinks by the pool. We would have loved to try out the pool, but it was too cold as it was January. The first floor has 4 bedrooms and 3 other bathrooms, one of which is an en suite, and we found this fantastic. The top floor houses the Sauna, a quiet seating area and the rooftop terrace. We loved the Sauna, this was an added bonus and a real treat. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful added bonus too. We spent time their chatting as we enjoyed the views. We even had a BBQ and must thank Lorenzo for the coals and the lighters, it was superb. If you are looking for a totally unique stay, close to a castle, and want to embrace the culture, this is a fabulous stay. Huge thanks to Lorenzo and his team.
