The staff Jose was very friendly and welcoming! Be an honest person and understand that you get the essentials for a very inviting price. This is ideal if you come by car, there’s plenty of parking space, it’s less than 15min to Ourense’s center. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat at the cafe on the ground floor but Jose gave us a nice recommendation where to have breakfast on Sunday. Although the room was a little bit cold for me (I was there in November), my stay was comfortable and towels and blankets were available. The corridor and bedroom had a nice smell. If you are picky about things, an expensive hotel suits you better.

The location, just ~120 meter on foot from Ourense's bus and railway station. Fresh air through the window, and alternatively good air conditioning. Do not get fooled by the hotel's plain two stars! I booked when it was said the hotel was almost full, true or not, so I ended up in their most expensive room with a large roof terrace. Maybe I wasn't exactly in need of the luxury, but it was very good value for the money. Many four-star hotels have less to brag about.

Well situated close to old town area(max 10-15 min.walk). We got un upgrade for a junior suite which was much larger than a usual hotel room is Spain. For those who are shy bathroom wall is glass made 🤭 but there is a shader inside so some parts can be hidden🤭 Absolut positive point that windows can be opened, which can be rare nowadays. Parking had really large space for all cars-just across the street 50 m away (not underground garage).
