Everything was amazing! The hotel was spotless, the food was excellent and always fully stocked until the end of each meal. There was a wide variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and fresh fruit. The pools were large and clean, and the sea-view solarium was peaceful and relaxing. There were fun evening programs in the lobby with a lovely bar. Special thanks to all the staff – they were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, this hotel had everything you would expect from a 5-star property!

We chose Barcelo for our honeymoon and we definitely made the right decision. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet and we could try various activities offered for free (aqua gym, tennis, dancing classes, concerts - additionaly they would also organize small trips, workshops and activities for children). The hotel has a gym, sport courts, a souvenir shop, pool bars - 3 euro for a glass of wine, 6 euro for a cocktail for eg) and a la carte restaurants which you can book through their app. There are several pools to swim in and relax and sunbeds for everyone. Guests can also access a nearby beach. It is close to TFS airport and you could spot some airplanes nearby but nothing disturbing. The hotel was a good starting place for trips across the island and as we rented a car, we benefited from the parking lot available. We had half board included in the room rate (breakfast-water, coffee, tea, fresh juices included and dinner-no drinks included) and it was ok for us as we were usually travelling around for lunch time. You could upgrade to all inclusive anytime (lunch and drinks included). The buffet was varied and you could find something tasty for everyone (local specialties, chicken, beef, pork, fish, fruits and vegetables, sweets, but also vegetarian and no sugar options included). The staff (reception, restaurants, bars and housekeeping) was super helpful and we felt taken care of. We were spoiled with welcome and goodbye treats which were a bonus. :)

This was a great apartment to stay in for a couple of days before our flight! The host was great at communicating, the apartment was lovely and spacious and the terrace upstairs had the sun all afternoon which was such a bonus. The kitchen was stocked for breakfast/lunch so we didn't need to go out and eat too often. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

The Real Tenerife!

Known as the ‘real Tenerife’, San Miguel de Abona is a hidden gem of the Canary Islands and an ideal base for touring Tenerife. It has contrasting landscapes of traditional wooden terraces, rocky ridges, volcanic mountains, and valleys lined with vegetation.

San Miguel de Abona is a hub of agriculture which means it has some great, traditional restaurants that benefit from fresh produce. The town’s cobbled streets are lined with 18th-century town houses and lead to the iconic 17th-century church of San Miguel Arcángel.

Hotel spotless.

Hotel spotless. All staff very friendly and go out their way to make you feel at ease. Lovely location and great access to coastal path. San Blas is great for a night out. Old Fashioned is fantastic, as is Tapas. Spoons is a welcome new addition. Everyone, everywhere is very friendly 😎

Situated in Golf Del Sur - it's pretty much an ex-pat...

Situated in Golf Del Sur - it's pretty much an ex-pat community comprised mainly of the British. If you want nightlife, then this isn't the place for you. There are quite a few bars and restaurants around the place, but better to take a stroll down to San Blas or Los Abrigos for more options. It's one junction down from the airport, so if you don't like aircraft noise, then again, this isn't for you. It's peaceful, usually quite windy, which is good when it's hot!

Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Local supermarket very handy. Quiet for those that don't like hustle and bustle of a lively resort. Would recommend the Lava Beach Cafe in Golf Del Sur for breakfast or lunch. Also the Wild Geese pub for drinks and food

Love this resort, we stay at the Santa Barbara resort which is a fantastic resort and the rooms are very modern, the pool area is lovely with different levels for sunbathing if you don’t want to be by the pool and you can book your beds a day in advance, so no getting up at the crack of dawn to put your towel on a sunbed. They have a lovely terrance bar with evening entertainment, kids games room and a gift shop & supermarket on site. The bus stop is a short walk away with easy access to the airport or Los Cristiano's. The resort is right on the seafront with a great coastal path that you can walk down to San Blas or even Los Abrigos. Great place for a getaway and the weather is always good.

We have stayed in the area many times. Its ideal for those who want a quiet restful holiday without the noise of night life. The restaurants in San blas offer good food at a good price. The area has lots of pleasant walks along the coastline . Plenty of parking nearby. We hired a car and went to nearby beaches at la Tajita and El Medano. Buses are frequent and trtavel to other local beaches and Los Christianos should you want a day of noise and activity. Would recommend for those who want to escape the busyness of typical spanish resorts. Its not for the young seeking nightlife and activity.

The hotel was lovely — very quiet, peaceful, cozy, and spotlessly clean. The staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to help. The only minor drawback was the absence of a sandy beach, but this did not prevent us from enjoying a wonderful holiday. For only €2.60, you can reach Los Cristianos and Las Américas within an hour, where there are plenty of beaches and water activities like surfing and windsurfing.

We had an exceptional stay at Claudia's apartment in Tenerife. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every essential was provided, from kitchen utensils to towels and even a washing machine. The terrace was the highlight, spacious and well-furnished, offering a perfect spot to relax. Claudia's warm welcome added to the pleasant experience. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Tenerife.

We really enjoyed exploring Tenerife with this car. It had everything we needed for camping, sleeping in the car was comfortable, although it could be little bit chilly in higher altitudes. The morning views at some places were way better than in most expensive hotels. The owners were kind and friendly:) I would recommend, and go again.
