It's a lovely place, the rooms are small but very nice (ours had a cute owl theme) and it's the perfect place if you just want to get some quiet time and zone out from daily life! The hosts are both very friendly and helpful and payed attention to detail. Our breakfast included a croissant, bread, cereal, coffee, juice and some fresh fruit, pretty much everything we could ask for. You can get to some smaller towns in 15-30 minutes for restaurants, but for us the highlight was the Ebro Delta with the beaches, pretty much everything reachable within 40 minutes (by car) and it's very beautiful there. I also particularly liked, that the property is very much self sustained! For this price, it is really perfect.

Located in a quiet area in a small town near Amposta.

Located in a quiet area in a small town near Amposta. Easy to get around the area. Everything was good except the menu. The Ebro Delta and Sant Carles de la Ràpita are easily accessible. I will definitely return to spend some time with Diego, the owner, who provides excellent service to all customers.

The town is quiet but not very touristy.

The town is quiet but not very touristy. You can eat at the hotel restaurant, which is adequate. I would avoid staying at the hotel itself; despite being a two-star establishment, it leaves much to be desired. Luxury isn't expected, just that the facilities are functional.

Santa Barbara and the Hotel Diego can become your starting point for excursions from Peniscola (the antipope Benedict XIII) in the south to Tarragona in the north and of course the Ebro delta and the hinterland, to visit the Modernist style wine cellars of El Pinell de Brai and Gandesa.

A very basic hotel, well located in the city center, but the room was very small. What I disliked most was the reception, which was unacceptable for a hotel booked through Booking.com: closed doors and windows, no one at reception. We had to wait half an hour before someone came, even though we had a reservation. The price is the only redeeming feature of this hotel!

The penthouse had everything we needed.

The penthouse had everything we needed. We felt right at home. The jacuzzi and terrace were exceptional. Silvia was incredibly attentive and gave us great recommendations on where to go and where to eat, always looking out for our needs. Highly recommended.

Great location for a trip to the Delta de Ebro. The hotel is in a small, quiet village and I slept really well. The hotel was very clean and is equipped with all you need. The restaurant has good quality food for a good price. There is a parking in the basement to leave your vehicle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was surely return!

Stylish and very comfortable bedroom. The warmest of welcomes from all staff, all the time. Interesting and delicious dishes on the half board menu; imaginative and impressive cuisine on the a la carte. In reality this hotel deserves more than its 2 stars rating.

Checkin and breakfast needs to be done in the restaurant over the street which belongs to the hotel. Good parking opportunities. Supermarket is nearby. As the town has got not a nightlife it's for people who seek a silent location.
