Very good stay for the Camino, we Camino as a group and the apartment was super spacious and comfortable. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it’s super furnished with attention to details, there isn’t a thing you may need the owner didn’t thought of. This apartment is perfect in every way. It is the best we have stayed in. Great location, even has a nice view of the main street. Double glazing so very quiet and warm. Pristine clean and fresh. The host is very accommodating, flexible and helpful in every way. It has every facility you may wish. Has proper towels and even complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. The Parador was a traditional hotel in an ancient building - the 11th century hospital built for pilgrims. Good rooms, (we had a fantastic view over the square), and traditional restaurant with clean white tablecloths for all diners. Bathroom large and classic, very much to our taste, with large bath, marble floor and marble counter-top, but perhaps will be re-furbed in the coming years. Breakfast excellent, as is usual with paradors - for example, freshly-squeezed orange on tap plus excellent range of cold food. Plus hot food to order. Paradors (100 across Spain) are state-owned and run, so they are all similar in certain aspects. The town centre is historic, mainly traffic-free, and very charming - the outer parts just a normal everyday town. The St James pilgrim route is a very important part of the life of the town.

Extremely difficult to find by car and GPS. Lovely old square and buildings Dinner was disappointing. We had lamb chops, but not like any i have eaten before. As we were on route for Santander, Brittanny Ferries we did not have time to explore

Missing hot water and lack of support from the site. Recieved our money with one week delay. At the begining the host did not wanted to bring back the money but thanks to the booking.com team we resolved the problem. Would like to forget bad memories. Never go to this place!

The cathedral is fascinating.

The cathedral is fascinating. We visited three times, on each occasion finding something new. I doubt there are many churches in the world that contain a chicken house - the two living birds are there to recall a local miracle in which a hanged youth and two roast chickens were brought back to life.

The people who run this hotel are just delightful. They were full of encouragement for my small amount of Spanish. The room was very comfortable and we had a great dinner. We wish we had breakfast there too. A real gem along the Camino in a town full of character and history.

What a hotel, superbly located in the old town. whilst parking was chargeable it was good to have two options, both of which were secure. The interior of the hotel is simply magnificent and the bar prices were excellent. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.
