I thought that we would have problems in terms of noise and security due to its location at the train station, but thanks to good sound insulation, I spent two nights very comfortably. The hotel was within walking distance of the center, there were many places to park the car around. The room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were very good. Since we were going to enter the hotel in the evening, they gave us a code number for the door, so we entered without any problems. wi-fi sockets were good on both sides of the bed. Recommended if you happen to be in Vic.

The renovation to the historic building is first class, with high quality appliances and fittings complementing the ambience of the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the the rooftop terrace was pleasant place to sit and take in the view. The location was ideal for us, being close to the train station and the historic centre. Judith was very responsive, both prior to arrival and to any issues while staying.

On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing the fiesta events in Tavèrnoles. We really enjoyed seeing the village, the crafts and meeting some lovely people and children. We enjoyed freshly roasted chestnuts, cheese , meats. A very talented lady demonstrated medieval instruments.

the area is great - very beautiful location - be prepared...

the area is great - very beautiful location - be prepared for a 10 mile or so trip back to Vic if you need something - to avoid the hotel food prices, we found a grocery store for snacks, breakfast and sandwiches.

Great dinner options (don't forget dessert!), great breakfast options (again: don't forget to ask for fried eggs, bacon and churros for dessert!). I recommend only taking rooms with a view of the lake, it's just a fantastic feeling to relax or, to the contrary, work a little on the balcony with such a chic view! After checking out of the hotel, I recommend to go to the end of the peninsula and see an ancient monastery with very beautiful views. Good luck to everyone!

The hotel is in a remote location high in the mountains overlooking a large lake. Large, well equipped room with a balcony that gave you a fantastic view over the surrounding mountains. The restaurant delivered excellent dinners and the biggest breakfast buffet we had ever seen. Excellent walking country. Really enjoyed our first stay in a Parador.

The reception staff were first class and helpful. The views from the front of the hotel were magnificent The dinner was good enough as they were serving so many tables due to a vintage car club staying there for 3 nights. Breakfast offered us a good selection.
