Beautiful and perfect. Cold temperatures in the room but within a few hours it was fine. The host and food was excellent. The host was so NiCE!!!

The place was just as you came into town off the Camino. The grounds and pool meant it had a resort feel to it - it was like an oasis on a hot day.

This hotel is situated in the charming town of Briviesca, just a 20-minute drive from Burgos city centre, and is surrounded by peaceful, lush countryside. It features an à la carte restaurant.

We felt very welcomed by Paula and Mario, they looked after every request we had , they even drove us to the next part of the Camino the next day. It was an oasis in the middle of our Camino walk. The rooms were extremely comfortable beautifully decorated and everything was spotless. Paula got up early to make us a tasty homemade breakfast.

Let’s be clear that the hotel lists itself as a two star, so no need to complain about a lack of luxury. And I must admit that when we arrived, the exterior of the hotel looks very shabby and run down. However, when we got in we were immediately and very warmly greeted and helped to check in and on our way to our room I was happily surprised to see that the corridor, room and sheets were all spotless clean. I mean like it was a HUGE improvement to all the other and often more expensive hotels we stayed at along the sun highway. Cherry on top were the extremely good beds. Maybe there weren’t a lot of guests when we stayed there, but it was also really quiet and we slept like babies. Checking out was as fast and pleasant as the checking in was. We won’t be staying at any other hotel anymore on our trips along that highway.
