Both hosts agrees to wait for us (we had a very late night check-in). 15 minutes after we checked in, they've asked us via sms if everything is ok at home; this is one of the best customer services we ever had! The house is warm, the water is hot, the location is amazing - it just can't be better!

The host is very friendly, helpful, and responds promptly. The accommodation is ideal for large groups, and thanks to the separate cottages and a tent, each family can enjoy their own private space. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, with plenty of plates, glasses, and utensils. There are two large refrigerators, as well as smaller ones in the additional cottages. There is a spacious covered outdoor area with enough seating for 21 people to sit comfortably around the grill. A scenic nature trail begins right in the yard, leading through a beautiful landscape of lakes, marshes, and forest. Guests also have access to two boats and two stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). The accommodation is spotlessly clean. The kitchenware, bed linen, and towels are all of high quality. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our holiday. Thank you!

Services of a small place. A peaceful and cozy place, friendly people. Restaurants close early, so it's worth getting there early. However, the services and recreational opportunities are quite suitable for families with children.

The slopes in Himos were in great condition, I recommend it...

The slopes in Himos were in great condition, I recommend it to skiers and snowboarders. I was disappointed with the trail network, I was in both Himos and the Särkijärvi area and couldn't find any nice routes. I found bad maps/information online in advance (e.g. starting points and routes). The condition of the trails was good.

I liked that there were many different cross-country ski...

I liked that there were many different cross-country ski trails and you could go skiing right from the place you stayed. The walls are noisy and if someone decides to have a party, the neighbors can't sleep. You should be more specific about this night partying and be prepared to fine the partygoers. You can get a fine for whistling, but no one will do anything for partying all night.

Taxi connections were spotty - sometimes you had to wait too...

Very nice location in the nature and short drive to Himos ski resort. Very helpful and kind stuff. Sauna was nice, rooms were warm and clean, and all the necessary equipment was available in the kitchen.
