Cosy, comfortable and spacious rooms. Great facilities including Kitchen, Bathroom etc. Very Neat & clean property. Special mention for Anita & team for maintaining the property so well. Very good location wherein we got chance to see the beautiful Northern lights and wonderful panoramic views & nature. Good speed Wi-Fi, and parking facility as well. Excellent customer service on everything. We got arrangements of bonfires as well. Very helping and spontaneous support always.

The position of the cabin is near the lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed. Cleaning. The sauna was exceptional. Quiet.

We LOVED our time at Kaamasen Kievari. We had booked the cabin for 6 which had a sauna inside and we were just 2. It was so so spacious (much more than it seems in the photos) and well equipped (functioning kitchen incl. dishwasher!) and the sauna is inside so you can start it up and go whenever you like. The staff was kind and gracious and supported us with all our questions. The breakfast is extra but SO WORTH IT!! Mega mega spread and it is not a big buffet, it is served to you specially separately. We loved it. Just make sure to let them know in advance. We saw the Northern lights THREE TIMES from RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR CABIN. For a completely uninterrupted view, you can head behind the restaurant / reception area and view it from right in front of the river. So great. You won't have to go for any special aurora hunting etc because if the aurora will appear, it will be right over your head. Just pop out of your room and you'll see it :) What a wonderful stay at such a great price. Highly recommend! Would definitely come back when we visit this region again.

The Food and people there were amazing! The Location is really impressive. In the middle of nowhere we were able to watch the northern lights multiple days in a row.

Everything was clean! Anssi the host of the Log Cabin is very nice and friendly person: get us all around the place , and fixed everything we were asking for. It is a quiet place deep in the woods. The huge Inari lake is in the walking distance. We visited the place in the days of deep snow and deep polar night,- but get nearly three hours of good daylight: me and a family enjoyed skiing to the Great Inari Lake through the woods (You could find good roads for it on the google maps). The Lord Sormuset house has everything to live in . It is clean house. And the most important - it is saami house. If You are here in Finland , and traveled through museum or two - and have seen the saami life on the pictures . If You want to expiriense it for real with Your body and senses - it is right place to fo so! The house is not big. It has freezer and huge stove. My daughter very enjoyed the second floor for sleep over the stove. Half of the building is a small sauna. But it more then enough, when You light it with the woods for enough time - it gets so hot! We very enjoyed to run our hot bodies out of the sauna, and get snow all over us! I really couldn't imaging me to do so in any other place (and we get around the Finland for month right now , and get to all kind of places). The water is not the must thing in the saami house - and You should get it in the buckets from the water pump, that is near the house. That is the real expirience - to get water to the house by walking through the snow in the polar night! My daughter really enjoyed it! The same is with the toilet room - You have it , eco one, near the house. The house was clean, we have clean linens and towels supplied by housekeeper Anssi. The kitchen has everything to cook on and to eat from. The small space if the house, that get all our family closer - was very nice expirience.

Beautiful area and a gorgeous restaurant with local fish

The house was very nice and it was very quiet on the lake at night. It was a very strange experience. The host was very welcoming, responded to all messages promptly, picked us up and dropped us off in the car, booked a delicious dinner by the stove, and experienced the sauna. We needed to leave by bus at 7am, the host pulled the hut back to the station early and cooked us a delicious breakfast, thank you very much. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we did not see the aurora. It will come again next time.

So easy when we arrived late with our motorbikes, A clean cabin where we could eat our own brought late dinner, get a shower -there were towels- and a good night sleep and in the morning we had a GOOD additional breakfast at the hotel for a VERY good price. We paid for a hostel and got more like a hotel.. Recommend for all and especially to fellow bikers.

This was like a fairy tale. Everything was covered with a huge layer of snow so the view from the living room was impressive. The cottage is perfectly designed and spacious. Great private sauna and the opportunity to jump into a pile of snow outside the chalet is unforgettable. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed is comfy and electrical heating is quite quick. But lighting a wood stove is the most romantic. It’s great place for relaxing.
