In November, Kuhmo and its activities are probably not at their best. There are probably concerts or other programs on offer at the Kuhmo House all the time. Now, numerous beautifully lit Christmas trees enlivened the city center nicely. You have to travel here in the spring-winter and summer.

beautiful location by the water. library house one of the most beautiful in finland and kuhmo house. kuhmo church designed by engel. kuhmo has many beautiful cultural sites, of which the kalevala hotel is one. the old parsonage on the banks of the rapids tells an old story.

My previous experience was in Chamber Music - now it's a complete retreat. All the necessary services were available in the city center, but now all the conditions favored inner peace. I didn't see a soul mate in Hiidenpuisto National Park either.

A very comfortable stay in an older style hotel. Comfortable beds and great shower. We really like having a full kitchen to make our dinner. The stay included breakfast which was delicious and a great way to start the day. Great value.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. We went in the midst of winter and had a blast doing the 2hr snowmobile tour with our kids aged 12, 11 and 8.

After sitting in a wildlife hide for several hours, the warmth, comfort, and friendliness of this hotel were much appreciated. Excellent breakfast.
