A one-bedroom flat in a building built in 1951, very much furnished in the style of the epoc. All facilities were new and in a perfect order. We spend there a couple of nights but equally well the flat would have served us for a week as a "second home". The breakfast in the nearby Club House was also excellent. The host clearly invest in the comfort of the guests.

Incredible art scene. The Serlachius Foundation and its museums are a hidden gem. All art lovers—from old masters (even a Rogier van der Weyden!) to modern and contemporary art—should go there. Of course, there's the annual contemporary art festival, held at various locations throughout the city. Highly recommended, no, a must...

A small place that breathes a lot of art every summer! Even though it is the most densely forested in northern Europe, there are many lakes around so you can find your favorite spots. Just enough places to eat and a quiet atmosphere.

The exhibitions and exhibition spaces were great.

The exhibitions and exhibition spaces were great. Otherwise, Mänttä was a pretty boring place. The places to eat in the evening were Vilppula Harbour and Honkahovi at lunchtime were reasonable. I don't think there are any good places to eat in Mänttä in the evening.

Mäntä has great art museums, and the Banksy exhibition in...

Mäntä has great art museums, and the Banksy exhibition in particular is very interesting. And the food at the restaurant Gösta is really good and tasty. This was our second time in Mäntä and we will definitely come again.

Cosy, comfortable apartment with all the amenities you might require. Extra attention to detail, with lots of helpful signs and notices in English around the home. Very comfy bed. This was my second stay here, and I will plan to stay again when I visit the Mänttä art festival and Göstä museums next sunmer. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in part of a 1930s Art Deco building, a style I like, in extensive gardens next to a lake. And we had a huge room with two large beds.
