From the moment we arrived at Beana Laponia, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by an exceptional team who made us feel right at home. The food was simply next-level amazing—every meal was a delicious, different each day, and bursting with incredible local flavors. The Jerusalem artichoke soup was an absolute standout, and even the meals served during the safaris were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making every experience feel extra special. The variety of activities and tours was fantastic, offering a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. From snowshoeing to snowmobiling, everything was well organized, ensuring we could fully embrace the beauty of Lapland. But without a doubt, the highlight of our trip was the husky tour—the dogs completely stole our hearts! The thrill of gliding through the pristine, snowy landscapes with these incredible dogs was pure magic, they’re all so loveable! First of all, the location of the property is incredibly beautiful. Located in the middle of nature directly on a lake. The perfect place to recharge your batteries. The house is small and super cozy. It is equipped with everything you need and nothing is left to be desired. The sauna is also a big plus. We used them every day. There are sledges at the house with which you can toboggan right down the entrance to the house to the lake. The house is very clean and it also has a wood stove that you can use. It's incredibly cozy and we loved our days there. Katja's reindeer farm is 2 km from the house. Also worth a visit! We landed in Rovaniemi and had a rental car from there. The accommodation cannot be reached without a car.

Lovely homely and cosy room with large shared lounge room and kitchen deep in the forest beside a lake. The dogs were super friendly and my daughter loved her forest horse ride. We saw the northern lights from the lake and it was super peaceful and quiet and beautiful. A very replenishing experience in nature far from the maddening crowd. A place to relax and reflect. The staff were very friendly with a genuine interest and love of people. We felt very welcomed and part of the family. Next time we would like to try the sauna and frozen lake dip! Highly recommend

The Log House is beautiful and as advertised. The host welcomed and showed us around the property. He was very responsive before and throughout our stay. I requested the sauna to be ready for our arrival and it was. The apartment was stocked with some beverages and instant meals, which we were very grateful for. It seemed to be the perfect spot to see the northern lights— either from the jacuzzi on the deck or anywhere within the property. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not in our favor that night. Overall, I think this is a wondeful getaway location not too far from the bustling city. Just note that the host lives in the house next door… yet, it’s all in a secluded area and very quiet. Know that this apartment is around 26 km from the city center and there are no amenities nearby. You can purchase some instant meals and other food items from the supermarket as there’s an electric kettle and fridge in the room. Since we didn’t have a vehicle, we relied on a taxi. The rides are not cheap in December, but I knew what to expect and don’t regret spending what I did. Honestly, two nights would have been ideal! If you have a vehicle, then it would be easier to move around. Thank you for hosting us and the gift —nailed it with my favorite chocolates. Cheers!

An amazing cottage nestled amidst the Lapish woods, offering a true gem for relaxation and witnessing the northern lights from the yard. Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic stay, though we recommend that you have a car for this cottage since it is a 40-minute' drive from Rovaniemi or other places you may wish to visit. The house itself is fully equipped and you have everything for a comfortable stay in the Arctic. The sauna, baby reindeers outside, and the surrounding views are a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.
