The beds were comfortable and it was great to have so many bathrooms. The bathrooms were well equipped with paper towels and soap, which was a nice surprise. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The lodge was big so we had a lot of space to do our activities. The jacuzzi was a great extra. We got early check-in and late check-out as a surprise.

Muurame is a little-known small municipality near Jyväskylä.

Muurame is a little-known small municipality near Jyväskylä. The place is well suited for those who enjoy lake views, fishing and rowing. The Muuramejoki nature trail is a nice addition right in the heart of the municipal center.

There was no playground or place for children to play in the...

There was no playground or place for children to play in the accommodation area at the top of the mountain or nearby. The view from the mountain was beautiful. It is also possible to orienteer on the slopes of the mountain, although in places it is very steep and rocky, but the surrounding areas have good orienteering landscapes.

Riihivuori is an idyllic ski resort with views of Lake Päijänne and Muurame. Muurame is a lively village between Lake Muuratjärvi and Lake Päijänne, and the Muuramenjoki River, full of fish, flows through the center. Nature, diverse sports opportunities and warm-hearted people are the best, and it is a quarter of a mile from Jyväskylä.

Muurame itself is quite ok, but this accommodation was below...

Muurame itself is quite ok, but this accommodation was below the rating. The mattresses are so thin that they are really bad. Other bedspreads are in the same category. The bed swayed and wobbled with every movement. The furniture needed to be updated 20 years ago. I stay away from providers of apartments like this.

We were really happy with the place, the accommodation was really clean in all its rooms and the staff we met were helpful and happy 😊👍 the scenery was amazing. The hiking terrain was varied and provided a challenge with its height differences 😊
