It was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and a super huge living room. Due to a not so lucky weather, we came rather wet. But there is a drying machine in the size of a huge fridge, which dried all our clothes and shoes. This was life-saving. And the sauna! What a treat! Huge and comfortable. And of course, the location is close to the port in Padasjoki and close to the lookout tower. If you want to get some blueberries, you just step outside the house, and you get some from the surrounding forrest. The host was very kind to provide easy access (check-in) and departure. He provided all the needed info, and it could not have been better prepared. Thank you a thousand times!!!

A taste of real country home style. Viivi and Marko have been super, and now we know how to properly prepare and enjoy sauna, Finnish style! We loved this place! Its location by Päijänne was stunning. The rooms, sauna, bath robes, breakfast - literally all of it! - was to our taste and excellent quality. The staff were exceptionally helpful and quick to suggest ideas that we hadn't thought of - like the walk to Päijätsalo (national park )and its observation tower.

So we landed this cool spot for a night, and let me tell you, it was a blast! The location was just perfect - smack dab near all the cool places we love, yet quiet enough to chill and just be. The apartment was way roomier than we thought it'd be, and loaded with all the stuff we needed. A fully decked-out kitchen for our midnight munchies, a washing machine (total lifesaver, by the way), and even a flat-screen TV for our chill-out sessions. And the cleanliness? Spot on! The outdoor terrace and patio were totally chill, perfect for soaking in the Finnish scenery with a good brew in hand. Plus, they're all about being pet-friendly - our furry little buddy felt right at home.

Incredible and lovely cottage in the middle of silence, birds, trees and water. Also the lake is not deep, you will be happy to swimm in the cold and clear water after a warm sauna. The kitchen is perfect, could have one more newer pan. The bed is real confortable and the A/C perfect if needed.
