I didn't expect to get a whole appartment to myself so that was lovely. I expected more of a hotel vibe which there wasn't. The "Hotel" seems to be mainly a location for a children's summer camp - but as I was visiting out of season it might be different at other times.

Very quiet place next to the lake. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equipped including a sauna. Renting bikes, boats and other activities are available on site at reasonable prices. Facilities for beach volley, ping pong table and billiard

We were made very welcome and the chalet conformed to the description. No bad surprises. The chalet was spacious, heated before our arrival and the fireplace allowed us to spend good times inside even though it was -25 outside. The sauna in the chalet was a real plus too. Very close to the lake, the snowshoe or Nordic ski trails, it is a perfect location which gives the feeling of being in the heart of nature while being in the immediate vicinity of a clear traffic route, which is not negligible in extreme cold. I think we will come back if the opportunity arises.

The area is spacious and quiet. Nice beaches, crystal clear lake, it was great to rent a boat and go for some sunset rowing session:) Also the free morning sauna is great.

Great place for vacations! Everything was very clean, new sheets, clean shower. All the necessary amenities, delicious tea in the room. Free and good wifi internet. Big thanks to the staff, the host was kind and helpful. There is a charging station for an electric car. Highest recommendations, I will definitely come back to you!

The resort is well signposted and easily accessible from the main road. The shop and restaurant were good. A buffet breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The dinner menu was also good value for money. Beautiful location and plenty of walks/cycling ways from the front door. In the Summer months, there is big play park for children, with water slides, climbing frames, etc., in the adjacent holiday resort. This is one of the most beautiful areas of Finland.

Punkaharju's old road, the "road of the century", is a great destination for cycling, for example. It is worth walking the route in the morning and evening sun, when the combination of light and shadow creates a nice contrast in the landscape.

A truly great destination for those who enjoy nature, beautiful landscapes and cycling. The center of Punkaharju offers sufficient minimum services and Savonlinna is only a short distance away, where there are more extensive services for those who need them.

A truly beautiful place.

A truly beautiful place. Note that there are two roads in Punkaharju. The lower one that runs along the water and the other, the ridge road, which offers even more beautiful views. There are viewpoints and coffee kiosks along the route. Drive through both and enjoy.

Beautiful nature. Possibility to swim in the lake.

Beautiful nature. Possibility to swim in the lake. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a pleasant experience. The waiter told us about the history of Kruunupuisto. Easy to get around, you could get to the Zacharias Topelius trail directly from the room.

Inkeritalo is a great place for lunch or just a waffle and ice cream coffee on the cozy lakeside. Hike even just a short distance on the ridge paths, especially in the nature reserve with its beautiful views and trees.

Forest chalet was very cute and cosy. Beautiful interior. Main hotel building is very beatiful and interior is done with good taste. Beautiful venue on beautiful spot. Breakfast was really good, especially porridge, cranola, apple juice and carelian pies. Staff was very helpful and polite.

Punkaharju je ticha vesnice, v blizkosti krasna mista. Dobra bufetova snidane. Hotel ma sva dobra leta za sebou, je to takovy retro hotylek, ale vsude cisto a klidne spani, nebot hotel neni na hlavni ceste.
