KURU resort is absolutely one of the most wonderful places I have ever been to! Beautiful view from the room, private sauna in the room, and the opportunity to use the outdoor sauna with direct access to the lake. Very good restaurant. Breakfasts delivered directly to the room. The car parking is separated from the area with the cottages, which I think is a great solution.

Resort Järvisydän offers excellent activities for everybody: cruises to Linnansaari National Park (by ship or yacht), seal watching trips, dinner cruises, forest cafe etc. Remember Hakoaja Village made of ancient logs pulled from the bottom of the lake, too.

The materials in the room were taken directly from nature, including the walls and ceiling made of logs, a large wrought iron chandelier on the ceiling, the brick walls vaguely beautiful, the cabinets simply built of wood. Wherever you looked, you were struck by the beauty! Yes, it was great to celebrate a 70th birthday!

The accommodation in the hut suite was a great experience.

The accommodation in the hut suite was a great experience. The spa was peaceful and clean. We were particularly pleased with the different saunas and the "storm room". There were a suitable number of pools. The limited time in the spa (at least for us) ad. 6 pm was sufficient. Outside, in the accommodation and in the spa, there was the same exotic spirit.

The main destination of our little weekend trip was the Järvisydäne spa and also a boat trip to Linnansaari. There would have been enough to do for several days. Rantasalmi gives you a relaxing holiday feeling in the lake scenery. If you are looking for activities but also the peace of nature, it seems that you will find them.

The website should first have information about all the cottages and what they include. You shouldn't have to ask after booking what the booking includes. Whether it's a dog or activities, etc. No booking page first, just an introduction! And more information about the waste management arrangement! We can take the waste bag ourselves if only someone tells us where! Waiting for several days for the waste bags outside is strange!

The place was really lovely, something completely different...

The place was really lovely, something completely different from chain hotels. The food and breakfast were good, the pancake station was perfect and there was even a local delicacy on offer in the form of cold smoked pike. The room with the sauna and outdoor pool was luxurious!

Great hotel for a relaxed stay in the forest and near the lake. We enjoyed the private jacuzzi next to our house a lot, the view fron panoramic window was fantastic too. Also great that we could stay here with our dog; a dog bed, towel and bowls were provided as well. There is also a great restaurant - Solitary - nearby, the 5 coyrse meal with wine pairing was fantastic.

The location and facility are great. Nice cozy house with a wonderful lake view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän, located nearby, is a great option to spend a few hours.
