We stayed in cottage Puolukka and it was perfect. The cottage is very clean and it has everything you need. The sauna in the cottage was great. We had a rental car and the location was easily accessible. The location is beautiful!! We loved the area in the woods and near the lake. It made our holiday perfect. We did the snowmobile tour with the owner and it was 10/10: SUPER! One of the highlights of our Lapland experience. Same for the snowshoe tour, it was fantastic! I would recommend this accommodation and I would book it again when we visit the beautiful country again.

Everything was amazing , we were a few days in real fairytale. Such a beautiful place in the forest on the lake. Owners are incredibly nice people and very helpful. It is good distance to Rovaniemi. When we have the possibility to come back, we will choose this place again. We have there one of the most beautiful holiday in our life. It is very special place and we are glad that we could be there.

The location is a little bit remote but if you are mobile, the effort is worth it. The area is beautiful, you have high chances to see aurora borealis. The house is well maintained and with everything you need. Very warm and cozy.

The setting is absolutely magical, nestled within the woods near Sinetta. Though I didn't have the fortune of witnessing the aurora during my stay, the experience of falling asleep while snow gently descended was truly delightful. Accessing the place is effortless, thanks to the convenient bus service connecting it directly from both the airport and the city center. Moreover, the breakfast boasts an array of delicious local products, offering a rich and satisfying start to the day. I also indulged in the buffet dinner priced at 39 euros per person, and it didn't disappoint. Additionally, the Finnish private sauna was an incredibly unique experience, especially enjoying it while snowflakes danced outside! I will come back to this accomodation!

Lovely place. Fantastic location with plenty of activities on site. Off the beaten track surrounded by pine forests and lakes. Buffet food was amazing.

Villa Haaveranta is the perfect balance if you’re wanting the peace of an idyllic rural Finnish landscape, but would like to be within 30 minutes of the centre of Rovaniemi. The location of the villa was absolutely breathtaking. Perched on the bank of Lehtojärvi, it was incredible waking up to the views across the frozen lake every morning. It was a much needed break from the chaos surrounding daily city living, and we have found the place that we will return to every year. The villa was equipped with all amenities, utensils and machines that you could need for your stay from a coffee machine, bottle opener and corkscrew (for the wine drinkers), to washing products in the bathroom. Everything was catered for by Kati and Petri. I must say, the thing that made this stay so special were the hosts themselves. Kati and Petri were the most accommodating and friendly hosts that I have ever met. They live near the villa and are always on hand to help or provide advice and assistance. Kati came to inform us at midnight that the Aurora was flaring up and took us out to see it in all its beauty and the night before we left she organised for us to see some huskies. Petri (after I accidentally pulled the door handle off the hire car) came to the rescue with his tools and helped me fix it! Their kindness and friendship throughout our stay towards us and more importantly our 8 year old son showed no limits. Their dogs Nasti, Nukka and little Nuoska are beautiful, and it was interesting to learn from Petri and Kati how Nasti and Nukka track Moose during autumn! We left feeling as though we made two great new friends. We will definitely be back for many years to come!

accommodation outside of civilization, helpful staff, great sauna, raise reindeer here and it will be perfect! You just need to replenish the food during breakfast, it was not enough for many people, because breakfast is very expensive.

It was a whole different experience! The view from the igloo was amazing and having a sauna two steps away just for yourself was a bliss. Also the experience of taking a shower in the sauna was pretty interesting and unusual. The chef of the restaurant is cooking your meal in front of you and that was just one more amazing experience.
