The place is just amazing, there are no other words for it. The accomodation is so beautifully decorated, it looked like a dream home. The kitchen was well equipped. The WiFi worked fast and well. The location is great: right outside of Syöte Nationalpark. The Sauna by the lake was the cherry on top!

Great place for winter activities and relaxing in a scenic fell & forest setting. Accommodation available from a hilltop hotel to housing options to varied taste & budget, even with great views and next to slopes or skiing/trekking tracks. Some nice options for eating out as well but not a place for party sharks. Local grocery stores small with limited options, more selection 30-45 min drive away. Car is a necessity when not staying in a hotel. If skiing is not enough try e-fatbike or a husky safari.

The paths in the national park was surprisingly quiet.

The paths in the national park was surprisingly quiet. Paths all around were well taken care of. The nature path at Pikku-Syöte had beautiful views. The restaurant Hilltop on top of Iso-Syöte had good food, nice views and friendly staff. They also had several vegetarian options, unlike other restaurants in the area. It was nice and easy to rent skis and sliding snow shoes. Paths were well stamped so it was also ok to walk without snow shoes.

Several nature trails, great scenery.

Several nature trails, great scenery. Food was available in a few places during the autumn, during the season, for example closer to winter, there are more restaurants open. The fell shop is definitely a plus. There is also a gym for those who want it, and bike/ski rental is available. Syöte is such a small place that everything is easy to find.

Iso-Syöte is quite expensive, and doesn't fare well in terms of price-quality ratio when compared to larger ski resorts. The restaurant at Hotel Iso-Syöte was clean and atmospheric, but the price-quality ratio was again quite poor, so this restaurant experience could have been skipped, but there weren't many alternatives...

A magical destination for those seeking peace and quiet and who love nature. A wonderful log cabin, very cozy and charming. Unique scenery, fantastic hosts – I'd love to come back again with more time. Thank you!

The location and surroundings, as well as the well-marked routes, make it a great place to visit again and again. There are also plenty of accommodation options available. Lunch at the nature center was good and varied. It would be nice if there were other options for lunch.

This was the main aim of the trip. The log cabin was exceptional and very well equipped, warm, comfortable and a pleasant experience. The 'short' walk to the main hotel for breakfast etc on occasions did not feel that short! The breakfast buffet was good and covered all dietary requirements The Husky and Reindeer trips were exactly as expected and worth every penny The bus to the Market works well for a change of scene Reception staff were very helpful in changing transfers as we changed our return travel plans

The house is well equipped and cozy, ideal for a family or a couple of couples. It is small, but had enough space for 4 adults in a very nice sauna. It's close to the ski slopes of Syöte, which are cool for beginners, Idk how a pro would rate them! :) The hosts are super super amiable and they reply to you fastly. The pictures are reliable, and the surroundings are nice, we even saw some northern lights in front of the cabin. I super recommend the place.
