The setting is absolutely magical, nestled within the woods near Sinetta. Though I didn't have the fortune of witnessing the aurora during my stay, the experience of falling asleep while snow gently descended was truly delightful. Accessing the place is effortless, thanks to the convenient bus service connecting it directly from both the airport and the city center. Moreover, the breakfast boasts an array of delicious local products, offering a rich and satisfying start to the day. I also indulged in the buffet dinner priced at 39 euros per person, and it didn't disappoint. Additionally, the Finnish private sauna was an incredibly unique experience, especially enjoying it while snowflakes danced outside! I will come back to this accomodation!

The help of our host was invaluable, she was thoughtful, attentive and very kind. For this we thank her once again and will do our best to return there one day. Ellinoora and Henri are amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. They were our local guides for the duration of our stay 😀 The lodge is very comfortable, facilities are good and it is very warm. The views are amazing and it is great that it is located just outside the city as you can walk on the frozen lake, see the aurora lights and relax being just few minutes away from the city.

An amazing cottage nestled amidst the Lapish woods, offering a true gem for relaxation and witnessing the northern lights from the yard. Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic stay, though we recommend that you have a car for this cottage since it is a 40-minute' drive from Rovaniemi or other places you may wish to visit. The house itself is fully equipped and you have everything for a comfortable stay in the Arctic. The sauna, baby reindeers outside, and the surrounding views are a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

It was a whole different experience! The view from the igloo was amazing and having a sauna two steps away just for yourself was a bliss. Also the experience of taking a shower in the sauna was pretty interesting and unusual. The chef of the restaurant is cooking your meal in front of you and that was just one more amazing experience.
