A very nice house for 1-2 families depending on the number of kids. It has everything one needs, is comfortable and the location and view are great. The sauna and everything else was very clean and well maintained. Hint: The complete address for the building is Merilänrannantie 68e, not just 68 as in the listing.

The perfect option, who wants just a nice simple cottage for a couple (or small family). There are all necessary stuff, like dishes, cutlery etc. We really love the firepllace! The place is super quiet, the ski track is nearby. I would say, that I don't mind to stay there again. Thanks!

The stay was excellent. I felt like being in an hotel in the USA National Parks... The hotel was new, rooms and especially beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was great and we had dinner one night and it was good and at a reasonable price. Sauna available for guests (for free). Driving to the national park is only a couple of kilometres. Overall a great experience and we will definitely come back!

"Hotel Pielinen exceeded my expectations in every way! The location was perfect, the owner was friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was impeccable. What truly made my stay special was the owner's recommendation of a hidden gem beach nearby, which was blissfully secluded, and the delicious vegetarian dinner cooked upon request. Also If you're planning to visit Koli National Park, I highly recommend Hotel Pellikan for a peaceful and exceptional stay."

Nice and quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite sufficient. The hotel's location is great for hikers, Kolini, Patvinsuo and Ruunaa national parks are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys the peace of nature. After a day's hiking, a warm sauna awaited us. There is a barbecue hut in the yard, where a larger meal is also prepared.

The hotel was as advertised in the wilderness. The activity possibilities were really good. Unfortunately we arrived so late that we couldn’t have a chance to go swimming or take a match of various games. Looking forward to that when visiting next time. Very good coffee at the breakfast and also good selection of food.
