We loved our stay with this gorgeous family. Super comfortable bed, space to ourselves if we wanted it and fantastic company also. Breakfast was wonderful. Really can’t say enough as to the value in so many ways of staying here. Sarah cooked us dinner one night also and it was one of the best meals we have had in Fiji and very generous of course. If you need transport Sam was a great driver and we loved being shown around by him. Just fabulous!!!

Everything about Lomani is wonderful! From the grounds, breakfast, the location on the NW coast of beautiful Taveuni, the lovely villa, gorgeous pool, comfy bed, full separate kitchen, app based TV, and most of all the views! There is a local scuba shop walking distance away (also kayaks and snorkel access), and the on-site managers Knox and Kelera were awesome. Would definitely come back!!

This is THE place to stay at if you go to Taveuni. It's really well located, close to dive centers / rainbow reef and it's easy to take the bus to go to Bouma to do the Lavena and Tavoro waterfall hikes. The rooms are surrounded by beautiful nature, the pool is great and the food very tasty. If you're traveling solo, you might meet other like minded people as it's the only place with a dorm. The best thing about the lodge is the staff, who will make you feel welcomed and looked after during your whole stay and who will share more about their culture if you take the time to chat to them. Be sure to try kava and listen to the beautiful music Kali plays every evening. Also they run a morning boat ride to try and see dolphins (couldn't see them when I went but you get to snorkel too) . Big thank you Lavinia, Laisani, Kali, Mateo and the kitchen team.

Location was beautiful with bures directly above the sandy beach. Great swimming and snorkeling directly in front of resort and surf break only 2km out in front. Manager & staff were amazing - super friendly, great service and really helpful. The food was very good and meals with Spanish Mackerel were exceptional. Private, peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do. The full day around island snorkeling tour with picnic and smoked fish on the beach was a highlight. Incredible coral and fish on the 5 snorkeling sites we were taken to.

The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.

Jaydee’s is a true Fijian homestay experience – you’re staying with a local family in their home - the facilities are simple but clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. What makes it truly special is the family, who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the family was the highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the grandmother, who radiates love and generosity. Staying here feels like being part of the family, and it’s a privilege to share in their home and culture. Breakfast was tasty, served with warmth and generosity – the perfect start to the day. And we had the yummiest dinner, made with love and care by the grandmother of the house. It was our favourite dinner of our trip! The location is great for exploring Taveuni. It’s peaceful and feels authentically local, while still being convenient for getting around the island. Just remember, you're at the top of the Island so if you're looking to get around lots, consider hiring a car. We used the local bus service and it was great, but it's not the most regular of service. (enjoy Fiji time!!) Mostly, we had a blast getting around walking which built up an appetite :) Reach out and ask the family when you book if you need help getting around, they're more than happy to help sort out local transportation. Honestly, the only thing we wish is that we had found Jaydee’s earlier and stayed longer! It was the most wonderful stay and the most amazing memories. We can not recommend it enough!! Sota tale Mila and family – vinaka vaka levu for such a special stay! 🌺💙🌺
