The setting was fabulous so lovely to be amongst farm animals. Room was spotless and really lovely. Charline was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with homemade jam, brioche and fruit and yoghurt. Even juice that was made in the farm.

Cosy, homely atmosphere ! A special mention to Eric who is so welcoming , friendly , convivial and to Jordan your Director who is so helpful, incredibly friendly and welcoming and very professional. Our dog Rufus gets special loving attention . We visit our home in Spain regularly and they are the reason why we stay at the Hermitage always on our first night in France and our final night on our return. It’s in our itinerary and always will be.

Well located in an old castle complex on a hill with a mysterious hidden entry in the woods. Very well-equipped perfectly renovated old cottage. The owners were friendly. The bed was comfy and it was very quiet. The breakfast, with homemade bread, was tasteful and abundant. This stay was a pleasant surprise and I can certainly recommended it!

Actual room and facilities were amazing much bigger than we...

Actual room and facilities were amazing much bigger than we thought. We were able to roam amongst the animals on the farm. There is a book with info for you that the owner has made up. Bathroom and toilet are downstairs from the bedroom. Breakfast was lovely home made brioche, bread, homemade jam, yoghurt and fruit plus tea/ coffee. There are tea/ coffee making facilities there too plus a fridge. About an hour and 15mins from Calais. We ate in Saulchoy at Val d’Authie we ate there when we came to France before. It’s very reasonable and food is good. We visited Fort Mahon for its wonderful beach and Jardins de Valloires in Argoules. You can also visit the monastery there. Bake de Somme is a lovely place to visit too. It’s very easy to get to all these places from there.
