This was an exceptional experience. The owner was welcoming, spoke good English, and walked me through everything. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with everything working perfectly—the same for the bathroom. Even the AC, heating, and bathroom heater worked flawlessly. I even streamed BT audio from the phone to the TV. I was genuinely impressed. The shared kitchen was spacious and well equipped, ideal for preparing a simple dinner and enjoying a bottle of wine in the garden. Parking is in the backyard, away from the main street—great for motorcycles. The area is quiet. Breakfast was fine, a typical French spread. Overall, by far the best experience I’ve had in France. Seriously, no quirks or oddities.

The host was very friendly. The host went to great lengths by using Google translate to make herself understood which was appreciated. We were able to hold a conversation by me using my limited French which was good practise. The home made jam, especially the fig jam was super, thank you. I appreciated being able to secure my bike by storing it over night in the garage.
