We had a warm welcome and were made to feel at home. Everything was very clean and fresh. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Madame also encouraged us to visit nearby Chateau Sache, where Balzac lived, and that was very interesting.

Location, especially with dog was a track from right behind accommodation. Super choice at breakfast with homemade cakes, jams and yoghurts. Large room with lots of storage space and beautiful bathroom, individual outside area for each room. Nice clean pool to cool off in after hard days sightseeing. We stayed in the quaint Games keeper’s house. Our stay was excellent, comfortable and very memorable. We made ourselves at home and were sad to leave this location. We explored the surrounding Chateau’s in the mornings and then spent each afternoon by the swimming pool until dinner. The main restaurant is fine dining with French cuisine. There is also a snack menu which is really good and we had this a couple nights as dinner on the terrace of the hotel.
