This house is what you dream the French countryside would be like! Perfection! If you’re walking the Camino de Santiago, driving through southern France, or even looking for a short trip from San Sebastián, absolutely come here. The bed is so comfortable and the French linen down comforter is like sleeping in a cloud. The room is wonderfully quiet and, with the shutters closed, perfectly dark. The decor of the house should be featured in Travel & Leisure magazine for its beautiful design and modern renovations while still maintaining the original charm (Jean Pierre, one of the hosts, did the renovations himself!). Do not miss the dinner and breakfast, homemade by the host, Lara! Each plate is expertly arranged, topped with little peppers or edible flowers, and beyond delicious. We have a high bar coming from New York and the dinner especially blew us away. Lamb with pumpkin and beans, little toasts of cheese, zucchini bread and beet purée with a crunchy little green salad and banana walnut bread for dessert. We will remember this place for a long time and we wish we had been able to stay longer to explore the mountain hikes and have another beautiful dinner with our hosts! If you have a chance to stay, it’s the best euros we’ve spent in our 3 week road trip across Spain and France, excellent value.

A very nice, recently renovated Chambres-d'Hôtes with the most welcoming hosts. The rooms and living area are comfortable and decorated with style. Beds and bathrooms were excellent. The hosts cooked us - a group of 5 long-distance cyclists - a lovely meal all made will their own/local products. They joined us for dinner and we had an informative talk about the region. In short, La Ferme des Hautins offers all you dream of when booking a Chambres-d'Hôtes!

The place was very cozy, aesthetic, and authentic. The owner lady was very helpful and flexible with the check in and check out. Breakfast was in the apartment already, we got homemade bread, which was delicious. Parking was safe and secure, right at the front of the place.

The owner was quick to respond to messages and very welcoming. We had our own food and drinks with us. There was a little bar / convenience store very close to the appartement, we bought only some cheese from there. There was enough room for our car just in front of the house.

This house is what you dream the French countryside would be like! Perfection! We were lucky to find such a beautiful house in Aspet. The owners have kept many of its traditional features, but the atmosphere is modern and pleasant. The room where we stayed is large with an impressive fireplace and a very comfortable bed. The cleanliness standard of the bedroom and the bathroom was outstanding. To add to this, the host is truly nice and made us feel welcome. We highly recommend this place!

Every now and then pictures do not do justice to what you are about to experience. The location is superb, the facilities are great, and the hosts complete the package. The hosts even contacted us to make dinner reservations in advance as Aspet is a small village with limited dining.
