The location is like a fairytale and the combination with a very good restaurant, eating in the yard, gave us a superb and unexpected magical last night of our holiday during our trip home. Very good breakfast! Hotel room in itself is adequate but not special.

we all loved the big garden! Sitting under the 150 year old tree drinking wine after dinner with my family was the best experience:) You can see different kinds of birds flying by and hear them singing...it was wonderful ! Helene and Alexander were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. A lovely family running such a gem of a place :) We hope to go back someday !

The 'superior' room was a positive surprise. Very nice, clean and with a lot of space. Very nice bathroom! The hotel is located in the center of Beaugency so that it was very easy to visit the medieval small city. The hotel offers a (secured) parking facility inside the walls of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Knowing now the distances to the various castles, I would have stayed a few days longer than for one night, and would have used the hotel as base for visiting several castles. If I would come back to that region, I would for sure return to that hotel.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly & prepared a wonderful breakfast for us with fresh local strawberries, fresh goats' cheese & homemade fruit jams and pastries. The best thing though was hands down the hot tub! We spent a wonderful evening in the hot tub enjoying the evening as the sun set.
