Surprising and really comfortable modern property inside old perimeter walls; Pascal was a friendly and welcoming host, the room was comfortable and spacious, there was a garden and even a doggy playmate for my dog; it was a real home from home and super-convenient for the ferry. I like the fact that each bed is furnished with lights, shelves, USB ports as well as electric outlet, an curtain for privacy as fellow roommates arrive at all hours of the night without disturbing my sleep. There are wall hooks for clothes. The bathroom is always clean. The staff were very friendly and offered help. It is within walking distance from the train as well as bus terminal.

The staff was very helpful. The room was clean. Although the room lacked air condition (it was okay, because I knew it in advance) and the weather was hot, the climate in Caen helped and the room cooled down during night, so I felt comfortable. There was enough space. The hotel is in the center of the city. I used public transport for transfers, and the bus and tram stops were nearby.

Location of the hotel is good for the ferry port.

Location of the hotel is good for the ferry port. Staff were helpful. However, food in the restaurant not great. I had an economy room which was fine but small - I wouldn't want to stay for much longer than one night.

Good choice of shops.

Good choice of shops. It was a bonus finding the biscuit artisanal shop. Equally nice to see Pegasus bridge and memorial gardens. Chose to buy a sandwich from a lovely patiserrie and have a picnic in the sun.

It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end...

It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5

Photos do not do the property justice 10 min walk into village 15min drive to ferry Much better than a hotel very safe and secure, park outside your front door behind a locked gate you have key to. Would definitely stay again Very comfortable bed and outside furniture

Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good continental breakfast without meat which suited us well. The restaurant was closed on the Saturday night so we ate locally. Overall we would recommend this hotel. Very accessible for the ferry port.

As Ever - Staff were on hand to book us in after we arrived on the late Caen ferry. The hotel is nice, the room comfortable and the staff helpful - this is our Go To for early / late ferry crossings.

Very personable welcome from the host and (be aware) a lovely little dog called Ewok. Definitely more a house stay than a hotel. Omelette for breakfast excellent.
