This little cottage is an absolute jewel. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the gorgeous town of Bèze, this could not be more perfect. It is a historic building beautifully modernised and designed to retain original features yet give a feeling of deep comfort. Not only is the owner a delight to communicate with, she ensures your stay is special - she seems to have thought of everything. The house is spotlessly clean, super quiet and so homely. The bedding is so soft it’s like sleeping in a cloud! If you come across this lovely cottage, do go ahead and book - you will not be disappointed!

The owners must be very proud of this property, a lot of though has gone into the design, everywhere you look there is a quirky little feature. We only stayed one night as a stopover en route to the alps but if we come again next year we might stay 2 nights.

Convenient location just 10 k from the autoroute but in a small village out in the country. An ancient barn which has recently been beautifully restored into a spacious, modern and comfortable B&B. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the parking very private. We've stayed twice now and will definitely stay again if on the same route.

Spotlessly clean, room on a quiet road, with a private entrance. Host was charming when we arrived having failed to read his very clear email with instructions for where to park and how to get in, and had to ring him at 10pm. We got breakfast from a bakery just down the road.

I was on my own but found plenty of walks and side streets to keep me occupied. A visit to the caves is a MUST for all visitors. I think a stay of 2 full days is sufficient to see and appreciate all that Beze offers.

Beze is an exceptionally charming medieval town. Small and manageable. A typical place for those with a sense of romance and nature. It doesn't offer much in the way of modern comforts, but that's not really necessary.

Bèze is a beautiful old French town. This explains why you should visit France. The historic sites in the village make it even more appealing to take the time to stroll through and visit the abbey, for example.

It was nice and quiet just outside the village. (A few years ago we stayed at a hotel in the village which was a bad idea, tractors were going through the town in the middle of the night back then and even this year). BUT this hotel was perfect, we didn’t hear any traffic from the road and all we could hear was the gentle stream of water down below from the river. The hosts was very friendly and kind and helped us with good tips for walking with our dog which you can bring!

Cosy little house with terrace in the beautiful village of Bèze. Great for a few days. We passed on our cycling route and enjoyed the gite. Great shower and bed. It even had a wood stove.
