We had a nice stay, the host was super friendly. Our dogs were welcome, there was a large beautiful garden where they could run. The breakfast was much better than the average French breakfast.

We had a lovely stay with Paul and Peggy. The rooms are comfortable and well presented. The garden and pool area is beautiful with stunning views over the valley. But the stand out aspect for us was how friendly and welcoming our hosts were and the FOOD!! Wow! Peggy is a terrific chef. So much of the lovely dishes we had were hand made by Peggy. A really wonderful place. We will be back!

Louis the host was very friendly and helpful as well as informative on the history of the chateau. He also recommended and booked a fantastic restaurant in the nearby village of mortemart. Highly recommend this accommodation.

This is the best bed and breakfast in the area.

This is the best bed and breakfast in the area. Perfect for a stop over and under sells itself. The host is charming and helpful. the accommodation is comfortable and well thought out and the food is incredible. All home cooked. A four course meal for supper and a fabulous breakfast all home made. This place deserves ten stars and the host deserves a substantial tip!

The owner, Myriam, is very kind and welcoming 😋. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, everything was perfect. The breakfast was lovely and very complete. Absolute peace and quiet, with parking in the courtyard. A very good place to stay.

Blond is quite small, but it has a good bakery, a nice little restaurant, and a few interesting places to visit, such as prehistoric menhirs, dolmens, and megaliths. Mortemart is also nearby, a very beautiful, idyllic village with a lovely village pub, Le café du marché, near Jan. Bellac is 9km away, and there you can enjoy a delicious dinner and a beautiful view.

I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at La Flamblée! The warm welcome and infectious joie de vivre of the hostess, the comfortable room, the ambiance of the house, and the excellent breakfast will leave you wanting nothing more than to return!
