The rooms are soundproofed, the heating is adequate, my room had good views and was bright and airy. One receptionist, Aortsoa, is so good at his job, always helpful and professional, he is fantastic. With his quality of service the hotel feels more like a 4 star hotel when he is working. Overall I was very happy with my stay and I would definitely go back.

Location was amazing, very closed to the fortified town with lots of restaurants and bars. We enjoyed walking our dog around the fortifications it's a lovely green path. The hotel parking was safe, being shared with the police, and practical. The reception area is warm and all the staff efficient and friendly. The breakfast was tasty, lots of options and enjoyable. We appreciated being able to bring our little dog. The rooms were clean and warm, we had a view of the cathedral, and the shower was very hot. A very pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Tiki de Notre Dame! The apartment is located right in the heart of the old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer, directly next to the stunning Notre Dame cathedral – a truly unique setting. It’s peaceful yet central, with everything within walking distance: great restaurants, cafés, and beautiful walking/jogging paths on the old city walls. Our 9-year-old daughter adored her own little room under the roof with a magical view of the illuminated cathedral at night. The apartment is charmingly decorated with everything you need – cozy, practical, and full of character. A particular plus is the basic equipment in the kitchen. Nothing is more annoying than having to buy salt, pepper, oil etc. for two or three days. There’s a great view with full privacy and enough parking space right in front of the door – a big plus in the old town. Communication with our host Jeremy was super friendly and easy. We felt so at home we honestly didn’t want to leave. A full 10 out of 10! The kindness of the people in Boulogne-sur-Mer made our stay truly unforgettable. We'll definitely be back, as we haven't seen all the fantastic street art and murals the city has to offer.

This apartment has every detail you might need, it was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was great. It has 2 entrance doors, one gives directly to street, which it's super handy if you go with dogs. The street was very quiet, and parking around was easy enough. Owner was very attentive. We'll definitely try to book again if we're in the area.

The old walled city is much nicer than the more modern part...

The old walled city is much nicer than the more modern part near the port. The main problem is parking (if you go by car) - there is a car park right outside the city wall, but it gets full and it's hard to find a space sometimes. It used to be free, but it costs around 17 Euros a day now. There is also a car park near to the cathedral inside the city wall (which also used to be free but no longer is), but that gets used by the Christmas market in December, increasing the pressure on the other one. The Christmas market gets absolutely heaving. In the winter many of the restaurants in the town are not open in the evening, so it's worth checking opening times before choosing where to eat. The dome of the cathedral is lit up at night and is beautiful.

We love Boulogne old town, a quiet little haven away from the busy main town. The main town has an abundance of shops and facilities with pretty much every supermarket you can think of and an incredibly useful Decathlon superstore.

The aquarium, cathedral and old city wall’s walk were all very well worth doing. We enjoyed them all. We also enjoyed wandering through the fish markets. We walked everywhere, which was easy enough. We had very easy access to lots of good options of places to eat, from where we were, with many right on our doorstep.

Great beach with lots for children to do....bouncy castle, trampoline, beach games and a park all free of charge. Lots of statues and historical sights to visit, and a good bustling town centre with plenty of shops and restaurants. The walk down to the beach along the harbour wall is lovely.

Pleasantly surprised by this beautiful town, especially the upper town area with its basilica, war memorial and beautiful architecture. The city was clean and welcoming with a good choice of restaurants and easy to walk around town. The waterfront was abuzz with visitors and locals alike. Plenty of free on-street parking too.

Beautiful town of historical interest, although very hilly. Restaurant of varying quality, never expected to have to check reviews before booking in France. Some restaurants had really poor food and service. Beach fabulous as was Nausicàa . Definitely worth a visit.

We absolutely adored our stay at this accommodation. The interior was beautifully modern, and there was plenty of off-street parking, which was a real plus. We were delighted to find Carrefour Express supermarkets within walking distance, and the proximity to Boulogne Sur Mer centre was just right. A truly enjoyable experience for our family. The host was very attentive and helpful when we had any questions. Moreover, there is also a delicious bakery nearby. We will definitely come back again soon.

The room was good value, took pets and was fairly close to the old town. We couldn't get a space in the car park but we got a space across the road and it was free parking. The bed was pretty comfortable and it wasn't too noisy although the hotel was quite full. The shower was big and good power and plenty of hot water. Although it was basic it was clean. It had a hairdryer which was useful.

plus point of down-town charm: very wonderfully and skill fully restored appartments in the old town. It was an overnight stay, yet clearly you can stay longer in Boulogne, certainly in this location.

The location was excellent right in the centre of Boulogne just opposite the walls of the old town and within easy walking distance of the Cathedral and Chateau.
