The room was very spacious with a king sized comfortable bed. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was very substantial with a great variety of food to choose from.

We felt really welcome with our little dog, the host was very friendly and there were a few decent restaurants in the near village. We were also well guided before arrival to find this quiet place without problems. There were some works in progress but these were more than compensated by the price.

It was perfect for anyone who likes peace and quiet and is fascinated watching the wildlife. It's rural which we prefer and a Super U was only a few minutes away by car. It was well furnished and just about everything you need in a kitchen was there. The fridge/freezer was an absolute god send when the temperatures were in the mid to high 30s every day!!! We asked if their was a fan and Thierry was most obliging and got one for us, and saved us from melting during the night. We would happily return to this property.

Breakfast was superb, fresh boiled eggs , plus large continental petit dejeuner , .. parking for my classic car was in a newly refurbished barn with locking doors. Area very quiet easy to find.

A warm welcome and such ease in making us feel comfortable during our stay. I appreciated the living room where I spent lovely moments with my grandchildren. We enjoyed delicious lunches and dinners. Kudos to the owner who prepared such wonderful evening meals for us. The peaceful setting ensured a good night's rest.

I needed a stopover on my journey.

I needed a stopover on my journey. La Joncquière was the perfect place: a magnificent, welcoming building, a vast property bordered by a forest, a pond, and flowers. And a superb welcome from Roch, the friendly owner who took excellent care of us. This break was rejuvenating, delicious, and very pleasant. An address to remember and recommend.
