We had a Europe trip with family and this facility was EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING!! The room was comfortable and well-equipped, the entire atmosphere was inspiring and village-like (which is extremely important in this day and age). The location itself was breathtaking, as the property was situated right in the wheat fields. Thus, we could fully enjoy the calm and peaceful ambience. But most importantly, our host Valerie was the kindest and nicest person we have ever met! We had pleasant conversations, exchanged our experiences and cultural trends in our home countries. She was very hospitable and friendly person. The fact that she was able to manage everything on her own and simultaneously create a strong presence was indeed inspiring. We were truly amazed by her! She also provided breakfast with delicious fruits, homemade marmalade and croissants. At the end of our stay Valerie gifted us crocheted charms, which we appreciated very much!! Even though we stayed for 1 day only, I am sure that it was the most memorable and outstanding experience throughout our 20-day journey. We are very grateful to La Baudinière, Valerie and this beautiful town. To other tourists, I recommend to visit this place. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!!!

We booked last minute for one night on our way to sardinia by motorcycle. It had been raining heavily all day and we were wet and cold when we arrived. We were greeted by Jean-Claude who immediately leapt into action opening up the garage and showing us the secure parking and where to hang our wet clothes and where to charge our helmet intercoms. Meanwhile Valerie dried out our gloves and showed us to a really lovely room. Hot showers then Jean-Claude, knowing we couldn't face another 10 mins on the bike, dropped us at the local pizzeria and then picked us up when we had finished. A great night's sleep in a supremely comfortable bed then time to enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by Valerie - homemade yoghurt and preserves, ham and cheese. Valerie took the time to chat, which really made what we expected to be a quick overnight stop, into a great start to our holiday. We got back on the road dry and fully restored. I can't recommend La Chélidoine enough. If you are heading south on the A6 start your holiday early by stopping here.

This newly renovated chateaux accommodates a really outstanding B&B. We were greeted with a warm welcome and an apéro in the garden of the chateaux. We love the rooms which are all kept with their contemporary furniture in excellent condition. Calm, very comfortable beds, fantastic views. The hosts are super friendly and made our stay really unforgettable. Breakfast is superb with local products and eggs from own chicken. The garden offers plenty of space to relax with a small river and a pond which we enjoyed very much. If you look for a B&B in Burgundy - this is an absolute must. Grand Cru Level to apply the Burgundy wine classification.
