Location second to none, on balcony overlooking the whole valley. Some beautiful elements to the breakfast including ripe fruit, lovely bread and cheese. However the coffee (in thermos) was mediocre and lukewarm, as was the water for tea - that is the one thing that could be improved (e.. why not have an electric water jug so we could make our own, steaming hot). Location is absolutely magnificent and Boris the host was very nice and helpful.

The hotel is amazing, it has a very nice view of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. In spring or summer might be even better , however we really enjoy the day. we were there with our baby of 1,3 yo, we stayed in an apartment and it’s perfect for a family. The only thing (not bad , just we are with a baby) is that to go to the city you cannot go by walking, is quite far and with ups and downs . Amazing ! Super happy 😊

It is a beautiful place, in a natural environment and with everything you need nearby. The town is small but it has a supermarket and a place to eat. It is on the way to the towns we wanted to visit, so the location was very good for us. At night you only hear the crickets. The breakfast was very good, with yogurt, a delicious cake and the inevitable baguette. We would have wanted something salty too, but that's what they usually have for breakfast in France. The room we booked is in a mansard with a sloping ceiling, but it is spacious. There is a lack of acoustic insulation so as not to disturb those on the lower floor. Many thanks to Alex for your attention to details and for the supplies you left us for the road (we left very early and didn't have time to have breakfast)

It's a magical place.

It's a magical place. Beautiful, and the people are friendly. I'm so happy I visited. It's a shame about the rain. I went to the Grottes du Peche Merle and hiked about 9 km. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature.

Superb village.

Superb village. Exceptional location at the confluence of the Celé and Sagne rivers. Peaceful. All essentials: grocery store, excellent bakery, post office, restaurants, cafes. Cliffs, troglodyte dwellings, castle, hiking trails. A stone's throw from the Pech Merle caves and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

Cabrerets is ideally located for visiting Saint Cyrq la Popie and the Château de Cénevières. At the confluence of the Célé and Sagne valleys, this small village and its surroundings offer landscapes worthy of the most beautiful photographs. A place out of time!

We had a wonderful Christmas in Cabrerets. The house is quirky and spacious. We enjoyed the sunroom on the first floor and sitting outside admiring the view and the starry sky. The village is absolutely beautiful and the local boulangerie cafe was open in December which was a nice treat. Sophie gave us great walking recommendations, so we did a local hike and visited Saint Cirq Lapopie. Thank you Sophie et Eric!

Everything, this is an absolutely beautiful property with extremely welcoming hosts right in the centre of Cabrerets. The linen was excellent quality, the garden green & lush. Nice cosy room, working heating, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were very nice and polite. Great stop if you want to skip the gites for a night on the Cele. Hotel is at the far end of town but the restaurant is directly opposite so you just start the next morning on the GR651 walking the Pech Merle. Very quiet

The Auberge is a pleasant, comfortable hotel, in a great location just outside Cabrerets village, but eithin easy walking distance. The hosts are approachable and helpful, and an evening meal is available if requested in advance.
