We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was amazing and we loved the pool. Being just slightly out of town, it was a nice easy walk but it also felt quiet and really peaceful.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was without doubt the best of the four that we stayed at in our tour around Corsica. It’s ideally positioned in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but still just a five minute walk from the port of Calvi and all its attractions and restaurants. The hotel itself has a boutique feel. It’s beautifully furnished with incredible attention to detail and spotlessly clean, both in the public areas and our bedroom. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was enormous with a lovely balcony overlooking the cosy pool area - the pool itself is also beautiful, with a lovely stone surround and little fountains. The bed in our room was one of the most comfortable I’ve enjoyed in a hotel anywhere and all the fixtures and fittings were of a high standard. The bathroom was immaculate with an amazing waterfall shower. Breakfast was served in the bar area, but with an option to sit out on one of the two outdoor terraces. It was a buffet with a great array of sweet and savoury options to choose from. It was kept well stocked and fresh by the staff. All delicious. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

The large space outside on the balcony with table & chairs & two sun lounges, overlooking Calvi Bay and the pool. The manager was delightful & she even insisted on carrying my wife's luggage up the stairs to the room. Breakfast on the balcony was incredible.

I fell in love with La Villa as soon as I arrived. The safety, the ambient, the welcome I received from the staff (Claudia, special thanks to you), and then the magnificent spacious suite with the most amazing view ever. The pool area is movie-like. Every single corner boozes elegance. There is even a gallery making the way to breakfast (or dinner) even more enjoyable. The food is exquisite! The spa offered one of the most relaxing treatments I’ve ever had.

The back drop of stunning scenery on arrival at the hotel's reception set the tone for our short stay. It is truly a beautiful location looking out over the sea and the mountains...picture perfect. The hotel facilities are fabulous and the hotel itself was spotless and comfortable. However, the absolute highlight for us, was the staff who worked on reception. In my decades of travel, I have never encountered such friendly, obliging and helpful staff. They are etched in my memory forever and the hotel is fortunate to have these wonder women!

A superb location for easy access to the splendid beach (2 minute walk from our room) and the town centre (15-20 minute walk, depending on the heat!). Spacious room, very clean and well equipped. Lovely staff, especially at reception. Excellent breakfast (good value as included, pricy if not). The location is perfect for the beach and the town.

The size of the town and its citadel. The look and feel of the place with its fantastic beaches of white sand and turquoise waters and the passerelle between the sea and the forest . Ease of accessibility on foot, by train to Ile Rousse and the beautiful beaches en route, proximity by boat or by organised excursions to discover spectacular landscapes around and over Calvi. I absolutely loved the place and will be back.

The boat trip to Scandola nature reserve exceeded all expectations! Loved having a day to tour the villages of Balagne. Restaurants are excellent. We enjoyed salads at Il Resto. Wish we had had a full day for hiking a trail to lighthouse & beyond.

Calvi’s an ideal place to just hang out, cafe and resto hop, go to the beach or walk the lovely lanes. It’s also an excellent base to have a rental car to venture further out across the mountains and along the coast, each with their own dramatic and wild and rugged landscapes. Plan your time however, the distances may look short, but the roads will in a lot of cases halve your kmph.

Calvi is absolutely incredible, beautiful views sea and mountains together crystal waters, great food, people so helpful would definitely go back. So far in Corsica we have been to bastia, sant florent and calvi and calvi is our favourite.out of the three. However all of corsica so far has been amazing. /the roads are fantastic and views incredible.

I feel like the locals, esp restaurants and coffee places in the Main Street live off of tourism, but hate the tourists for all the chaos they bring to the place. The atmosphere is not nice. Also, it’s too crowded for my taste, but most of the world is like this now.

June was a good month to visit as not too busy and excellent weather. Calvi is terrible for vegan options and the restaurants are pricey. There are very few options for lower priced meals. We were also shocked at the cost for taxis

Bungalow was squeaky clean, had all the amenities for a family with 2 toddlers. Location is also great - in the middle of a pine forest and a few minutes walk from the Calvi beach. Calvi town was a short drive away. They offered free yoga, Pilates, tabata classes in the pagoda of the camping .

Good location in Calvi, excellent standard for 3 star hotel. Beautiful view of the sea and citadel. Close to a small beach and snorkelling off the rocks by the hotel. 5 minutes walk to the main restaurant area. Very good breakfast.

The room was modern, spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Right next to the supurb beach with excellent restaurants and a short walk 10 mins into the centre of Calvi. Parking at the hotel was easy with a great hotel location
