Beautifully restored old chateau with many of the old features maintained. The bedroom was the size of 2 “standard” rooms with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. And a very unique feature in the bathroom - one of the original beams running thru it!

Everything was excellent. The studio is very spacios and cosy, and the bed is huge and super comfortable. Wifi great. Everything very neat and clean. The landlords put the heating on before we arrived, so when we came the flat was nice and warm. There are no flats neither upstairs nor downstairs, so we were not worried about disturbing anybody late in the evening. The house is very secure in a safe quiet neighbourhood. The landlords are very welcoming, unfortunately we did not get to meet them in person because we arrived late and left late, but they sent us all instructions how to get in which were very easy to follow. This is an excellent place to stay for visiting Carcassonne or exploring the area, a really great stay.

Fatiha is a miracle. She is not just a host, she is an angel who looks after you and takes care of you from the moment you arrive until you leave. I am sorry that there is no 15 rating because 10 does not express what this place deserves. I have been travelling for many, many years, several times a year, so I have seen it all. You will only experience the kindness and care that you receive here in very few places. I could talk about the accommodation, the size of the bathroom, how comfortable the bed is, but you can find these qualities elsewhere, it is the personality of the host and the atmosphere of the place that makes the difference. I arrived from Andorra and unfortunately I was quite late, I arrived sometime after midnight. (I apologize for the delay.) I received the instructions for the auto-check-in, but Fatiha came out to meet me at the parking lot and showed me to my accommodation. Otherwise, I would have waited a while to find the entrance at night. So that was a big help. There are flowers all the way to the accommodation, well-groomed roses on the stairs leading to the entrance, you can smell them all the way up. But that sets the mood. The room is spacious enough, you have your own refrigerator, the bed is comfortable, the room is well equipped, the bathroom is spacious and has everything. I liked the little sofa next to the bed, where you can put your bag or even sit on it when you arrive. The furnishings have this mixed East-West feel, I really liked that too. And then there's another great thing. You don't need a kitchen, because Fatiha will cook for you if you ask. The menu is also available on a website, which is where I chose it. You shouldn't miss it! I went to Marrakech last year, tasted a lot of local food, in different restaurants, but nowhere did I eat as delicious as what Fatiha made for me. And you have to try her cakes too!

Absolutely everything! Perfection at its best. Valerie is a beautiful woman with the kindest of hearts. Her cooking for breakfast was amazing and very much appreciated. Her advice on the area was welcomed. Would highly recommend a stay with Valerie.

The hosts were great, really made me feel at home. The room was great and breakfast good. I was able to park my motorcycle in the garage. I also was able to do some laundry. The wifi was very fast and stable. I cannot recommend staying here enough!
