Throughout the hotel and restaurant the decor and fittings are new, tasteful and of a high standard. Our bedrooms overlooked the river, with a great view of the mountains and the pretty town. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were not disappointed.

Location was excellent, a short walk into town. A lovely welcome from the lady on reception. Bed was super comfortable so a great nights sleep after a a long motorcycle ride. The walk-in shower was fantastic. A nice continental breakfast set us up for the next days ride.

We really like this hotel. It is in a busy small town and the hotel also is busy. It is a traditional hotel and the restaurant is used by the people of the town as well as the hotel guests. We thought the food was really good. I hope that the opportunity arises for us to stay in this hotel again.

The house is amazing, over 250years old. We had an apartment on the top floor which was done out very nicely. The host is great, has so much information and lucky for us was able to speak English. Loved our stay.

Fabulous, old house in the middle of the town, tastefully and up kept, with exceptional flair and magic atmosphere. The owners are very sociable, kind and courteous, keen to share tips and information about the region. The breakfast with home-made produce was super tasty. Rooms are extremely spacious, comfortable and well heated when there's a need. Everything is super-clean and good quality. I don't recall if the mattress was hard or soft, but I've slept very well.
