Unfortunately we had a very late arrival due to unforeseen circumstances, but the host was very understanding. The room was quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and with a great terrace and a great unbothered view. The bed was big and comfortable. The breakfast, was WOW (you must try the “Oeufs au lait”, super good).

This is a wonderful home just 20 minutes away from Orleans. It consists of a very large living/bed room with a fireplace, a dining area, and a shower bath. Charming rental couple who serve a very good breakfast upon your request. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the large garden with a pool due to the weather, but it would have been a perfect spot to relax. We would definitely book it once again if we are travelling through the area.

A town full of character and history, the castle gardens and town hall are a very pleasant visit, as are the banks of the Loire with the bridge. The market hall is worth seeing for its metal architecture. A disappointment: the Loire River Navigation Museum was closed at the end of June! Limited dining options.

A small town on the banks of the Loire: calm and verdant. But above all, don't miss a visit to the Romanesque church of Germigny-les-Prés: a truly unique gem of Romanesque architecture with a very original (and rare) mosaic of Byzantine inspiration. A remarkable place where you never tire of wandering...and taking photos from every angle (of the exterior apse as well).

Only stayed one night and had dinner at the adjacent Brasserie de l'Europe restaurant, 50 meters from the beautiful hotel. We had a wonderful meal right in the heart of the village. Hotel du Parc is a beautiful building, with friendly staff and large rooms—absolutely perfect.

Originally from Châteauneuf-sur-Loire, I return every year to recharge my batteries. The walks in the castle and at Chastaing are magnificent. Furthermore, the lighting and light displays on the bridge are absolutely worth seeing.

Unexpected gem in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire. The outside of the property is deceptive: once the owner lets you in, you will discover an amazing garden with pool, and an old house full of history and interesting objects. Ideal for families: we had adjoining rooms with a bathroom. The breakfast was amazing - pastries warmed in the oven, homemade peach jam; even the yoghurt was homemade. We went out for dinner and had really good pizza. This is a great place to stay if you’re driving the length of France and want to stop overnight.
