The best part was the wonderful friendliness and welcome we received at reception ( English, Spanish, French, Greek spoken). Beds were really comfortable, and the room wa s spacious enough with a large bathroom and shared area in courtyard and inside as well. Travelling with our almost grown up sons we rested well in this peaceful hotel. The breakfast was delicious, locally sourced products, many organic, many home made. It was outstanding and we set out well prepared to explore this lovely village of Chinon.

A lovely location in an historic town. The secure parking is a bonus. We have used the hotel on several occasions, both for short breaks and stop overs. The hotel and restaurant have recently been refurbished to a high standard but retain their quirkiness. The people are welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant, it was of high standard with an interesting menu. Montreuil is a lovely town in the Pas de Calais near Le Touquet and the coast.

The room was very large with the bathroom and bedroom divided by a third sitting room with a settee. It had very recently been refurbished to a high degree with a good sized walk-in shower. There was a large courtyard and garden at the rear of the property onto which our room opened. Plenty of tables and chairs were provided giving a pleasant quiet area.
