The flat was well designed and maintained. It was spacious and comfortable and a few doors down from a fantastic boulangerie. We liked the town center location and we managed to park outside easily.

It’s spacious, new, clean, fully equipped (Whatever you may need in the kitchen, you will find it), confortable bed linen and with a beautiful view on the lake. It’s well located, the town is very cute and it’s 30min-1h max from all the main sites to visit around. We stayed 3 nights and that was way too short. We simply fell in love with Jura area, and can’t wait to go back. We will definitely stay again at Granges du Vilaret.

Clairvaux-les-Lacs is a charming village on a small lake with a shallow beach, making it suitable for small children. There's also a good campsite here. The town square features a few shops and a restaurant. There's also a weekly market.

A pleasant little town on the shores of a pretty lake.

A pleasant little town on the shores of a pretty lake. It has all the amenities (supermarkets, restaurants, bakery, etc.). One drawback: the severe lack of charging stations within a 15 km radius (the only available station is in a supermarket parking lot)!!!

The Jura region is magnificent, the lakes are splendid, the Hérisson waterfalls are a must-see, the panoramas are breathtaking and peaceful, and the region is inexpensive compared to Haute-Savoie. We will definitely return!

A welcoming village with shops, a very good restaurant, a lovely shop selling wooden items, and above all, the lake with its very large campsite. The Hérisson waterfalls are nearby, as are the surrounding lakes. A very beautiful region.

A very pleasant village in a superb region of mountains and lakes where you can swim in the summer or walk along the shores, and where the local cuisine is delicious, there are also many museums in the region (superb Abbey Museum in Saint-Claude or Museum of Fine Arts in Lons-le-Saunier)
