We really enjoyed our stay at the Chateau de Clermont. It made for a great stop en route to / from Calais. It's a little off the beaten track, but well worth the detour from the main routes and standard hotels. It was full of character and we felt comfortable and very welcome. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal with the family. Breakfast was lovely - fresh croissants, bread and homemade apricot jam. We would definitely stay here again.

We love the Chateau de Clermont and have stayed here three times now. Lovely family atmosphere, a bit eccentric and lots of charm. Don't expect hotel-style management - this is a family home and feels like it, with dogs and cats at large. It's great having the pool to take a swim after a day's driving, and this is a great location for the journey back to Calais.

The breakfast was of traditional French type, with sublime fresh bread and pastries. The hotel had so much charm and character. We loved the open kitchen and the relaxed welcoming atmosphere, and sitting on the terrace for a delicious evening meal overlooking the beautiful garden with golden fields beyond was great. The hosts were very welcoming.

Authentic chateau experience. Living as in a home not a hotel. Excellent dinner with homemade good food made with local produce. Communal long dining table which encourages conversation with other guests.

This is a such a charming place you will not forget. The hosts are wonderful, everything else is very individual. If you like to meet friends in a beautiful surrounding we can highly recommend this hotel.
