Excellent place. Cosy garden. Exeptional service. Once the hostess realiced that I hadn’t underdstood that they only served breakfast, and this was a tiny town with no shops or restaurants, she offered to serve me an omelette. And she did indeed!! Huge omelette, crispy baguette, fresh salad and sliced watermelon. This was topped with french cheese and red wine for dessert. And all this for almost no money at all.

There was no breakfast and no dinner either as the restaurant was closed. But a lady called Adeline kindly came to let me in and showed me to my room. I particularly enjoyed hearing the cocks crow in the morning. But they wrote to tell me the restaurant was closed but too late to change my booking. No other restaurants open for miles. I liked being able to open the window and the hit water in the shower.

The hosts, Claudie & Patrick are very welcoming. The bedroom was large, comfortable, well-equipped and elegantly decorated. The Chateau is handsome, in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a luxurious stay in a relaxed, romantic setting!
