We visited this hotel 9 years ago, and we wanted to visit again, because we had a very good memory of this hotel. And we still want to come back another time. Everything is in order, the room, the view, the people and the pool and location in general. The breakfast is very French and fantastic. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay. This is how a small family hotel should be run!

This hotel is wonderful. Located on Evian’s main road (with no traffic outside 7:45–9:45), it’s right in the heart of the town and just a 3-minute walk from the lake. The style is delightfully early 20th century, very clean, and the breakfast is excellent. They don’t serve lunch or dinner, though. In the rooms there is a small fridge, a kettle, a selection of teas, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Guests also have access to a small terrace equipped with some gym equipment. We had a great experience and spent a very reasonable amount. I recommend it without reservations.

This is one of those rare hotels where everything is perfect. The bedrooms and ensuite are impeccably done. Very comfortable beds. Quiet surroundings for restful sleep. Truly perfect. The pool is an exceptional facility, accessible by elevator on each floor. The different lounging areas (bar, library, and endless terraces) were lovely and inviting. The staff meet the highest standards and are professional without being stuffy. A brilliant choice for a relaxing stay with panoramic views of Lac Leman.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large with enormous beds, and bathrooms were lovely too. Breakfast had loads of choice and we ate dinner on the terrace one evening which was gorgeous. The swimming pool area was very nice though bar seemed to be manned only some of the time. The setting in the hills with Evian just a short ride away on the free to ride funicular train was great too.

It is a small city not much to do however, at night there is...

It is a small city not much to do however, at night there is sometimes some animation like music. You can also cross the lake to go to Lausanne in Switzerland. You can organize a trip to Montreux where there is the jazz festival in July, I think. Evian les Bains downtown is very pretty. There is two bookstores and a couple of clothes stores. And a lot more of souvenir stores. But I think just the calm and the beauty of the lLeman lake will suffice to spend some good vacation with serenity.

Evian is a gorgeous town, located on the south side of Lac Leman. Gorgeous views of both the lake and the mountains. Excellent opportunities to do nice walks or runs along the lake. Good selection of restaurants.

Quiet village. Great if you love Golf.

Quiet village. Great if you love Golf. Otherwise there is not much to do or see. We went there for Golf but once that was done we spent our time going to other towns. Too quiet wouldn’t go there again .

The location of the property was perfect!

The location of the property was perfect! At the time Evian water museum was under renovation however you can still get the water in several locations! May be the most perfect water anywhere...the location is beautiful and locals very helpful and friendly. Would return at any time..

I had 4 days at the end of my long vacation to choose a new...

I had 4 days at the end of my long vacation to choose a new place close to Geneva airport to stay before heading home. There were a few options (Thonon, Gex, Lausanne) but I chose Evian for size (not to big) and proximity to Lake and Mountains. Lake Geneva is beautiful, especially on a sunny day and a great place to walk. There’s not a lot of shopping, so you wouldn’t come here to do that but there are enough restaurants and cafe’s for a short stay. There is also the Casino, Evian Spa and aquatic complex for people who are interested in those things. If you have a car it’s only 30mins to Abondance and 45 minutes to Morzine which are both cute mountain villages where you can do walks in the summer and skiing in the winter. This is also the home of Evian water so a little history to learn and explore. There is great local food products and wine. You can also take the ferry across the Lake to Lausanne to visit the Olympic Museum or visit the town itself. If you are heading to Geneva you should drop into the small historic town of Yvoire for a few hours and maybe have lunch at one of the several restaurants.

The room was nice and clean with a small balcony to enjoy. L'Oasis is located on a hill and has a big terrace with a fantastic view on Lake Geneva where we enjoyed delicious breakfast with a variety of sweet and savoury treats. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The pool is big enough to take a swim and very nicely located in the quiet garden of the hotel. Several very good restaurants and the city centre are within walking distance. All in all it was a very delightful stay.

The lake view room was superb. Plenty of space and luxurious. The hotel is very large with lots of seating and large well tended grounds. We ate at la table. The food was superb. Sat on the outdoor terrace and watched the sunset. The hotel is set high on the hill giving amazing views but if you want to go down into the town there is a free funicular tram or courtesy bus.

We didn’t have breakfast at hotel restaurant as we bought what we needed at the Lidl as there is a fridge and microwave and hob at the property. The supermarket is 5 minutes walk away although be aware the walk back up a very very steep hill. The apartment was huge, everything you required was there.

Such a cute and charming hotel! We were positively surprised with such care since the kindness and attention of the staff up to the cleanness and the charming and tasty breakfast! Great value, right in the main square, easy to find and to go walking to any place in town. We highly recommend :)
