A brilliant hotel in central Maubeuge. A 5 minutes walk from the train station, with free parking for hotel guests. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds. Great showers in the bathrooms, really nice. The windows offer nice views over the town and the choice to upgrade rooms is brilliant. Very polite and friendly staff, helpful and nice. I did not try the restaurant below the hotel, but it looks fantastic and was busy with local people eating there every night, so definitely going to try that next time.

Beautifully decorated, with lots of history and character. The owners were super lovely, even though we didn’t speak French we managed to communicate :). The was a focus on locally made produce and the breakfast was delicious. We even got invited to join for a local beer with them. Our son was allowed to feed their horse Toronto, which he loved! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. All the best in the future!
