This is a small but very well laid out, self-contained apartment, with everything you need (including fridge, stove top, oven, coffee maker, and coffee capsules). The owner lives in the same apartment building, so I got a personal welcome, and introduction to the unit. Very clean, very comfortable, everything works. A very enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The gite is great with everything provided and in a lovely rural setting. We appreciated the air con on very hot days! The hosts, Charlotte and Aaron were extremely welcoming, helpful and generous. The pool and surrounding views are fantastic and very peaceful. Our children also loved feeding the animals on the farm. We hope to come back!

The hosts were incredibly friendly.

The hosts were incredibly friendly. The cottage was very functional and charming. We'll be back! The castle-town hall is magnificent; it's a shame we couldn't visit it. The surrounding area is wonderful, full of history and legends. The countryside is superb and still peaceful outside of peak season; we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The town is sad and dirty; even the few restaurants don't make you want to go in. The small village next door, Monsempron-Libos, is more attractive, with a good little restaurant, "Bistro Chic de la Gare," and many tourist places to visit if you go a little further.

Don't miss Bonaguil Castle, owned by the town of Fumel.

Don't miss Bonaguil Castle, owned by the town of Fumel. There's a truly exceptional guide there. Visiting without a guide means missing out on a lot. You should call ahead to find out about guided tour times. The town of Fumel itself isn't particularly remarkable.

We were delighted to be welcomed by a Dutch couple.

We were delighted to be welcomed by a Dutch couple. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was good, and the staff were excellent. The room and bathroom were a bit small, but we had a lovely view of the valley. There was also tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Very stylish studio in a beautiful old house very close to Fumel amenities. Very nice boulangerie up the street and easy parking very close to the apartment. Bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent despite the fact rainfall shower head did not work. The apartment was cool even though the weather was extremely hot outside. A fan is provided though if needed. Very comfortable for 2 people.

I arrived with a bicycle and I was allowed to leave the bike inside a storage room! Breakfast had good coffee and croissants, along with fresh fruit and yogurt, meats and cheeses. The hotel staff were all very nice, and helpful. I enjoyed sitting on patio for breakfast, and in the evening.
